Usually a law is deemed to be enacted on the day president assents it.

🏦🏧 Liability of Consumers in cases of unauthorised transactions


Zero Liability:
1. There is contributory fraud/negligence by the bank.
2. A third-party breach occurs, and the customer reports within 3 working days.

Limited Liability: Customers share liability if:
1. Loss occurs due to their negligence (e.g., sharing credentials).
2. There is a delay in reporting unauthorized transactions (beyond 3 working days).

Reversal of Transactions: Banks must credit the amount involved in unauthorized transactions within 10 working days of notification

223 (disobedience to order issued by a public servant) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against an unknown person for giving alms to a female beggar

Under BNS section 223, the guilty can be punished with imprisonment up to one year or a fine up to Rs 5,000 or both.

Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has started a pilot project to make 10 cities across the country beggar-free, which includes Indore.

💯 What I understood was correct.


When the three new criminal laws were about to be introduced, I had already informed everyone. You can refer to my earlier posts, where I mentioned that if you have already studied the old criminal laws, you will have an advantage rather than thinking of loss, our brain memory is way more bigger than you think.

1. For understanding the changes and comparisons, which are the core areas likely to be tested under the new criminal laws, the old laws must be studied.

2. The syllabus for the old laws is still being tested and will likely remain relevant for at least 3–4 years.

What is the difference between rent and price/premium in section 105 of transfer of property act.

CIT v. Panbari Tea Co., AIR 1965 . The Court observed: "When the interest of the lessor is parted with for a price, the price paid is premium or Salami.
