The new law «Federal Decree Law No. 6» expands the powers of the Central Bank and makes any operations with digital assets part of financial activities.

Main:

➠ Any cryptocurrency services with payments, exchange, storage or transfers require a Central Bank license.
➠ Fines for work without a license - up to $272m + possible criminal liability.
➠ Self-custody is not prohibited - the requirements apply only to companies.

Companies buy 90% of LedgerX, a regulated derivatives exchange previously owned by FTX. This gives them their own infrastructure for listing and clearing contracts for the outcome of events.

• The demand for event contracts is growing - in the 3rd quarter of 2025, Robinhood customers concluded 2.3b transactions.
• More than half of Kalshi’s turnover was accounted for by traffic from Robinhood.

⚠️ Monad users are attacked with fake translations.

The company’s technical director James Hansaker warned that attackers are trying to substitute addresses to intercept real user tokens.

How the scheme works:
• Fraudsters create vanity addresses that coincide with the first and last characters of the victim.
• Send zero fake transfers to get into the transaction history.
• Expect that the victim will copy this fake address at the next bridge or transfer and send real tokens to it.

🇺🇸 The former boyfriend of the head of OpenAI, Sam Altman, was robbed in San Francisco - the criminal forced the victim to withdraw the cryptо for $11m.

The attacker pretended to be a courier, rang the doorbell and asked to «sign the delivery».

As soon as the owner opened the door, the criminal broke into the house, took out a gun, tied the man with scotch tape and for ~90 minutes, under torture and threats, forced him to empty his crypto wallets.

The house belongs to venture investor Lahi Groom, who used to meet Sam Altman. A second tech investor lives with him - it was he who opened the door.

This is part of the trend of «wrench attack» - when the owners of the crypt are attacked not by hackers, but by real people with threats.
