🤔 JPMorgan: Payments from Mt․Gox will provoke pressure from sellers only at the initial stage (in July) - in August the crypto markets will recover.

Mt․Gox customers will receive 142,000 BTC ($8.6 billion) between July and October 2024.

+ Payouts from FTX could become a growth driver for crypto markets - clients will get back $11 billion in fiat, which they will potentially reinvest in cryptocurrency in October/November.

Earlier, JPMorgan analysts questioned the influx of capital into spot Bitcoin ETFs - of the $16 billion in net inflows this year, most of the funds likely came from existing wallets on exchanges. (not new money/investors)

The asset rotation is confirmed by the reduction in BTC reserves on the CEX.
