A 24-year-old student from China created the BFF token on the BNBChain blockchain and deposited $300,000 into the liquidity pool as bait - when an unknown person bought the token for $50,000, the scammer withdrew all the money.

The court sentenced the “genius” to 4 years and 6 months in prison.
