The Securities Commission of Malaysia (SC) has accused Huobi Global Limited and its chief executive Officer Leon Lee for operating the exchange without a license.
The regulator ordered Huobi Global Limited to cease its activities in the country, disable its website and remove mobile applications from the Apple Store and Google Play.
Huobi Global Limited is also obligated to stop distributing, publishing or sending any advertising to Malaysian investors via email or social media.
