A crypto trader turned $9,645 into $282,000 (29x return) by front-running token burns linked to Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ), per Lookonchain data.
After spending 16 BNB plus gas fees to buy tokens ahead of CZ's burns, the trader profited before CZ abandoned the wallet.
This case highlights the tracking of high-profile wallets and the countermeasures taken when their activity is mirrored.

The crypto market is trying to stabilise today, with Bitcoin trading around the $63.6K zone while total market capitalisation holds near $2.23 trillion.
ETH remains soft around the $1.62K area, while BNB and SOL are holding relatively steady.
Overall, the market is showing some resilience, but there is still not enough momentum to confirm a stronger recovery.
Sentiment remains in Fear at 29, showing that traders are still cautious and confidence across the market remains fragile.
Derivatives activity is still worth watching. Open interest stands near $93.88B, while around $86.99M in liquidations over the past 24 hours shows that leveraged positions are still being cleared as the market searches for direction.
For now, Bitcoin holding the current range is constructive. A stronger move higher with better volume would be needed before the broader market can regain stronger bullish confidence.

THE NEXT ALTCOIN SEASON MAY LOOK NOTHING LIKE THE LAST ONE

For years, crypto had a very simple playbook.
Bitcoin moved.
Ethereum followed.
Then money flowed down the rankings until almost everything started pumping.
That model may be breaking.
Institutional investors entering crypto are increasingly looking beyond one question:
“How big is the token?”
And asking much harder ones:
• Does the protocol generate real revenue?
• Are people actually using it?
• Does the token capture any of that value?
• Is capital staying on the network?
• Can the economics survive when incentives disappear?
That shift matters.
Institutional counterparties represented roughly 72% of Wintermute’s spot OTC activity during the first half of 2026, up from around 59% a year earlier.
And those flows have increasingly concentrated around major assets, revenue-producing protocols and tokenized real-world assets.
Hyperliquid is a good example of the new mentality.
Instead of simply saying:
“HYPE is smaller than ETH, therefore it has room to grow…”
investors can actually study trading volume, revenue, usage and token economics.
This could change what an “altseason” looks like.
The next cycle may not be:
EVERY ALTCOIN GOES UP.
It may be:
CAPITAL PICKS WINNERS.
Projects with users, revenue and genuine value capture could separate dramatically from tokens surviving mainly on narrative.
And if that happens…
being an altcoin will no longer be enough.
You’ll need a reason to exist.

Ethereum developers are already shaping the network’s next major upgrade.
And one of the most interesting ideas on the table could change something fundamental:
How private transactions are built on Ethereum.
There are currently 66 proposals being considered for the 2027 Hegotá upgrade.
One of the most important is EIP-8141 — known as Frame Transactions.
Today, building private-payment applications on Ethereum often requires extra infrastructure outside the network.
The proposed system could make Ethereum itself handle more of the machinery.
That could enable wallets where:
🔹 Someone else pays your gas fee
🔹 Multiple actions happen inside one transaction
🔹 Different cryptography can approve transactions
🔹 Privacy applications depend less on external relayers
But there is an important distinction:
Ethereum itself would NOT suddenly become private.
Normal ETH transfers would remain publicly visible.
Instead, developers building privacy-focused apps would get stronger tools directly inside Ethereum.
Why does that matter?
Because public blockchains face a major problem if they want serious financial adoption.
A company does not necessarily want competitors seeing its treasury.
An employer does not want the world reading payroll.
And institutions will not move every financial activity onto infrastructure where every movement can be mapped forever.
Crypto spent years proving blockchains can be transparent.
The next challenge may be proving they can also offer privacy without sacrificing trust.
Only one proposal for Hegotá has been approved so far.
The rest are still being debated.
But the direction is becoming increasingly clear:
Ethereum isn’t only trying to become faster.
It is trying to become infrastructure that real financial activity can actually use.

The crypto market is showing signs of stabilisation today, with Bitcoin trading around the $63.6K zone while total market capitalisation holds near $2.23 trillion.
Bitcoin has managed to recover from the lower end of its recent range, but the broader market remains mixed.
ETH is still struggling around the $1.62K area, while BNB and SOL continue to trade without a decisive breakout.
Sentiment remains in Fear at 29, showing that traders are still cautious despite the market avoiding another major sell-off.
Derivatives activity remains elevated, with open interest near $93.9B. At the same time, 24-hour liquidations have cooled to roughly $87M, suggesting the market is currently seeing less aggressive leverage flushing than during the recent volatility spikes.
For now, Bitcoin holding above the $63K–$64K region would be constructive. A stronger push higher, backed by increasing volume and broader altcoin participation, would be needed to confirm that momentum is genuinely shifting back toward buyers.

🇰🇷 A KOREAN BANK IS PUTTING RIPPLE INTO REAL PAYMENTS
South Korea’s Jeonbuk Bank is deploying Ripple Payments for 24/7 cross-border remittances.
The system is designed to settle transfers in seconds to minutes and will serve businesses including import-export companies, tech startups and online content creators.
It’s also Ripple’s third South Korean partnership this year, following deals involving Kbank and Kyobo Life Insurance.
One important distinction:
This is a win for Ripple’s payment infrastructure — it does not automatically mean these transactions will use XRP.
Still, the direction is clear.
Crypto infrastructure is increasingly being tested where it matters most:
moving real money between real businesses.
