gm, today i bump you this uzi song again, and want to talk about the topic of risk management in crypto while you listen to it

the true winners of every cycle are generally two types of people:

1) the trader who consistently takes profit. they understand that even if token A is going to $100m with 66% odds of reaching that marketcap, the EV move is taking profit on the way up. they understand the nature of the chain and the downsides of macro changing at any time. they understand there will always be new trades, and maybe while they arnt max value extracting on a single play at a time, on a longer timeframe they are consistently max extracting value, leading to big PnL’s over great time lengths

2) this trader is the zero or 100x type trader. they tend to look over longer timeframes also, sometimes slow bleeding for days, weeks, and maybe even months. but it just takes a single trade with the right sizing, right thesis, and right luck, and believing in something. this trader *should* already have some level of wealth to incur the slow bleed which is needed for this. many call this stereotype a “lucky” trader, but in reality it’s not. it’s about positioning themselves in a trade to get the opportunity to be lucky

there will always be another trade, always be another opportunity. just don’t force the opportunity, let it come to you
