🇬🇧🗣 #40BILLION The Bank of England has published its final policy framework and draft rules for systemic stablecoins, easing several proposals from last year’s consultation.
The central bank scrapped plans to cap individual stablecoin holdings and instead proposed a total issuance limit per stablecoin, initially set at £40 billion.
The BoE also slightly relaxed requirements on reserve backing assets and aims to finalize the rules by the end of 2026. #stablecoin
