πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³πŸš€ China's RWA Regulatory Framework Officially Released:

On Feb. 6, 2026, the PBOC and seven agencies issued Yin Fa [2026] No. 42 on virtual currency risks. The CSRC released rules on offshore issuance of asset-backed tokenized securities backed by onshore assets.

RWA is defined as tokenizing asset rights via cryptography and DLT. Onshore RWA is generally banned unless approved; offshore RWA requires strict compliance, CSRC filing, and disclosure.

Stablecoins are seen as having legal tender–like functions, posing FX risks. Oversight is divided among NDRC, CSRC, and SAFE, with offshore RWA by domestic institutions under unified risk control. #regulation link

πŸ“Œ Day 4: Proof of Work vs Proof of Stake

Blockchains need a way to agree on what’s true.
This system is called consensus.

The two main types are:

πŸ”ΈProof of Work (PoW) – used by Bitcoin

πŸ”ΈProof of Stake (PoS) – used by Ethereum

Part 2 of the previous post

πŸ”Ή Proof of Work

Miners compete to solve a difficult math puzzle.

The winner:

πŸ”ΈAdds the next block

πŸ”ΈReceives a reward

Security comes from real-world energy cost.
To attack the network, you would need enormous computing power and electricity.

πŸ”Ή Proof of Stake

Instead of using energy, validators lock up (stake) their own coins.

If they cheat:

πŸ”ΈThey lose part of their staked funds.

Security comes from financial risk.

πŸ”Ή The Key Difference

PoW β†’ Security through energy
PoS β†’ Security through locked capital

Bitcoin uses PoW.
Ethereum uses PoS.

Both aim to protect decentralization β€” but in different ways.
