🕵️ A victim (0xd674) lost 4,556 $ETH ($12.4M) due to a copy-paste address mistake.
The attacker generated a poison address with the same first and last four characters as Galaxy Digital's deposit address and sent dust transactions.
11 hours ago, the victim copied an address directly from transaction history to deposit into Galaxy Digital but mistakenly copied the poison address instead.
As a result, 4,556 $ETH ($12.4M) was sent to the attacker.
Always double-check the address before making a transfer.
