definitely need to read rules carefully but yes rescue mission was basically outright mentioned in the rules

on first view i also was like wtf when i saw this trading at 100% bc i was at my phone and didnt see any news about an invasion or anything along those lines

so in a market like here you basically had a decent chance invasion was happening for a YES outcome and then on top you basically had a bunch of freeroles like a plane getting dowed and pilot rescued

so long story short IF you ever end up willing to bet size on poly better make damn sure you have read and understood the rules

imo polymarket is THE KILLER application we have. This gonna lunch with an insane valuation and imo that valuation will be mostly justified

if they should do an airdrop this will be one of the biggest airdrops that crypto has ever seen.

if you are only remotely interested in any of these you should see that you place a couple of bets per months on poly to at the very least farm the airdrop. Personally i am farming this with 10 wallets for over half a year now & will continue to do so

imo currently you basically get paid to bet on poly

🧐🧐🧐 Dubai, families & the villa market:

Thought abit about this today and wanted to share my drivel.

Current supply Dubai is like 85% apartments and 15% villas

Villas have massively outperformed apartments since 2014.

While apartments only made 2% higher higher vs 2014 high in 2025 Villa ath was more than double that of 2014.

However I think the longer this conflict last the harder villas will get hit and arguably villas have alot more to fall since they climbed alot higher.

Villas and townhouses are almost exclusively rented/lived in by at least upper middle class++ families.
You probably will find fairly few singles and only few couples who live in villas & townhouses bc they dont need the space and often want to be closer to the action. so its basically a section of the market that is entirely driven by families.

families usually have alot of stuff they bought for their household. They usually have at least 1 more or less fulltime household help and they have 1 2 3 kids in a private school they pay for.
Especially due to the last point families are the least mobile BUT at the same time the most sensitive to safety. If you alone you might suck it up but if you have kids you really try to avoid being in a warzone.

For me once there is a semi reliable peace deal I might be on my way back. If you have left with your wife and took ur 2 kids out of school I think it takes alot more to get you to move back.
So long story short families will take alot longer to actually leave dubai and once they have left they might not come back anytime soon especially if they set shop somewhere else for good.

My thesis is the longer this conflict drags on the harder it will be for villa market vs apartments. The only upside here is that villa stock is alot smaller (15%) than apartment but those are also significantly more expensive and can only be rented by the aforementioned clientele.

If my thesis is correct that should be visible in how many signups there are for the next schoolyear vs the last schoolyear
