Now the most important thing about the hard fork is implementation of EIP-4895, which allows validators to withdraw ETH that have been staked since as long ago as December 2020! Around 18 million #ETH or 33 billion dollars will be unstaked and ready to trade 🤐

Just to remind: in December 2020 the price of #ETH was around $600 - $700, which makes it 3x profit for those stakers! This is a great profit and surely a lot of people will accept it and get out: they will simply sell their #ETH! Moreover, a lot of big funds, which have been struggling through 2022, will be able to sell their holdings. For example, Celsius is likely to sell its 158k #ETH as part of its bankruptcy process!

📉 South Korean crypto exchange GDAC loses 23% of its assets in a hack

💸 On April 9, the South Korean cryptocurrency exchange GDAC was hacked for nearly $13 million. Hackers transferred 23% of the total amount of digital assets stored on the platform from the platform’s hot wallet to an unknown address. As a result, 60,8 BTC, 350,5 ETH, 10 million WEMIX tokens, and 220 000 USDT stablecoins were stolen. The GDAC team said it has notified authorities of the hack and is working to recover the funds.
