Early Bitcoin advocate explains how falling oil markets mean profits for America and China BTC miners
The world’s equity, fuel, and bonds markets have entered into uncertain and volatile periods — driven on the back of unstable trade wars, changing fundamentals, and the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Cryptocurrencies are not far behind. Digital asset markets, while not linked to traditional investments, suffer the brunt of global fundamentals; even the price cycles are independent.
But a Bitcoin veteran believes the recent fall in oil markets, when a certain futures contract traded at -$37 at one point, is ultimately a positive for the cryptocurrency markets, and more specifically Bitcoin miners.

Altcoins Index chart update 📈
Alts index chart has the same pattern as Ethereum (potential head and shoulders). So we either expect it to bounce from ~550-555 support, or dump lower to 540 / 525. I suggest to set long orders there and wait. Sell at resistance. Lower long zones will be invalidated in case of index growth above 590 again.
Support 562 / 550 / 542 / 538 / 527
Resistance 580 / 585 / 590 / 600

Samsung & LG ‘Pursuing Business with Big International Crypto Players’
South Korean experts say that domestic business big-hitters like Samsung and LG are stepping up their crypto-related activities with overseas companies – rather than domestic players – as part of a strategy that has begun to take shape in the past few weeks.
As previously reported, Samsung last week struck a deal with American crypto exchange player Gemini. The deal saw Samsung integrated Gemini exchange functions for its flagship Galaxy smartphones equipped with Blockchain Wallet features in both the United States and Canada – allowing users to buy and sell crypto, and make use of Gemini Custody cold wallet storage functions.
LG, meanwhile, has recently become a member of the governance council of the Dallas-based Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR) project, also agreeing to run a node on the latter’s network.
Per Hanguk Kyungjae, the move is part of a concerted effort that has been expiated partially by the coronavirus pandemic.
The COVID-19 outbreak has forced many companies to explore contact-free technological solutions and business models – and bigger South Korean companies see cryptocurrencies as being a key part of this.
The media outlet quotes an unnamed industry insider as stating that big companies like LG and Samsung are keen to tap into the potential of crypto, but would prefer to partner with strong and high-potential players in the United States, where they feel the market is already in an advanced state.
Regulatory issues are a third factor, per the report.
The media outlet quotes another unnamed South Korean industry chief as stating,
“Due to regulatory uncertainty and the government’s reluctance to cooperate, large domestic companies are choosing not to pursue cooperation with domestic [crypto] companies.”
The same insider stated that although the National Assembly’s passed a potentially groundbreaking crypto-specific legal amendment in March this year, big South Korean firms are not convinced.
The industry chief stated that South Korean crypto regulation was “still inferior” to the regulatory frameworks in countries such as Japan and the United States.
One crypto-keen domestic player that both Samsung and LG do have strong relationships with is tech giant Kakao.
The latter yesterday launched a crypto wallet that is integrated with its 50+ million-user KakaoTalk app. LG and its subsidiaries are governance council members of Kakao’s Klaytn blockchain project, while Samsung’s smartphone blockchain wallet is also compatible with Klaytn’s native Klay token.

Local bitcoin trading on peer-to-peer exchanges in India is growing rapidly.
Paxful recently overtook LocaBitcoins to lead the way in terms of volume.
Absent a spike in trading in December 2017, more BTC is cumulatively being trading now in India than ever before.

Daily Bitcoin chart review 📈
So far Bitcoin moves within uptrend and even draw a hummer candle at support which is a bullish sign. But now it is under 9750 SR and so uptrend is getting weaker. CME Futures closed at 9800, so wherever weekend volatility will take the price, 9800 will be Monday target. Everything else stay the same - 9975-10100 is nearest strong resistance and 9444 / 9250 is nearest strong support. Sharper dump may take it to 8900-8700.
Resistance: 9750 - 9970 - 10100 - 10240
Support: 9600 - 9444 - 9222 - 8900 - 8700

Once again, when it takes too long it usually goes up again (during this uptrend past 2 months).
Good chance, since its weekend, we get somekind of ugly triangle, as i have shown on the right. There is another resistance for the bulls, that is the breakout level of that trend line which is around 9750.
Another common thing lately, is making channels, so also something to keep an eye out for, in case we pump but get resistance around 9900/10000.
Think 9400ish is a big level as well for the bulls, but think key level is still the 9300ish. But i have to say it once again, something we have seen a lot past 2 months, if a key level breaks, if the drop is slow, small and low volume, BIG chance it will just go up again.
Don't forget it's weekend,

Ethereum Remains 82% Down From ATH, While Bitcoin Trades Halfway To Record
Ethereum continues to struggle with resistance at $250, much like Bitcoin fails to hold above $10,000 per BTC.
Ethereum, however, remains down 82% from the asset’s former all-time high set, while Bitcoin sits pretty at nearly a full 50% recovery. The asset set the record just as the crypto bubble began to burst in January 2018.
The price per ETH token then collapsed to as low as $80. Current prices represent an over 200% return, but another 475% would be needed to get back to the record of over $1,400.
The upcoming ETH 2.0 launch, a massive surge in the growth of decentralized finance, and general bullish sentiment surrounding the altcoin caused a powerful, nine-week-long rally to kick start the new year, but Black Thursday sent ETH prices tumbling back toward lows.

#NEO UPDATE (requested)
Overall it looks good, but some correction is quite possible to happen. There are two main levels: 1200 sats and 1140 sats. If the first one is broken, we would see the price at the second one. Technical side of this coin looks good.

I am still not sure of that red trend line, but think it does have some value. Kept moving towards it like a magnet, which could look like a retest, but when it takes too long to bounce up it usually is a sign of weakness (why i said the other day that normally i would short this blindly).
Anyway, its dropping now, but once again slow dropping in steps. Each time bouncing up, as long as that happens, there is a chance it moves up again. Normal drop with a normal bear flag, is like part of history.
Now as long as it stays above 9400ish, it could be a basic higher low. In other words, think as long 9300 doesn't get touched, bull still have a good chance. 9300 is still the key level i think. For the bulls, think i would only get scared if you see a 300/500 point dump through 9300.
So at the moment it looks that the bears in slightly in favor, but bears have lost almost all the fights lately. Still Sunday, so we could see some sudden moves, just be aware 📈

Technically looks good, but it is not the main case why we bought this coin. We all know that this is a pure pump&dump coin and now after a long pause they turned on trading bots. Usually after this coin is pumping.
