According to the latest data by Michelle, the market cap of leading stablecoin Tether (USDT) has surpassed $30 billion and pushed USDT to Top-3.

This development represents a growth of 44.9% from the beginning of 2021: $20.94B —> $30.35B.

The world’s second-largest crypto asset by market cap, Ethereum breaks all-time high above the $1,800 level.

The price surge has been driven by the launch of Ethereum futures on CME on Feb. 8 (77 contracts were traded upon the launch yesterday).

Ethereum market cap hits above value of $207 billion is now more valuable than some of the largest companies such as Cisco Systems, AT&T, PepsiCo in terms of market cap, according to AssetDash.

In the past 24 hours, Ethereum hiked by 9.84%.

The Bitcoin price has broken through the $46,000 support over the past day and is currently trading below it. The price decline was -3.83%, at the moment BTC is trading at $44,662.

The Binance Coin has updated its historical high at $148 over the past day, and now the price has adjusted to the level of $126.

The growth leaders among the Top-10 are Cardano +17.4%, Polkadot +6.37% and Ripple +5.33%

​​Bitcoin is growing at a faster pace than the internet.

​​Mastercard to let merchants accept some cryptocurrencies directly later this year. According to the recent blog post the company is “preparing right now for the future of crypto and payments, announcing that this year Mastercard will start supporting select cryptocurrencies directly on our network.”

Over the past few hours, Bitcoin did little more than trading sideways. In my opinion, that might not be very good for Bitcoin's short-term price development as this is already the 3rd time BTC touches this green Ichimoku cloud on the hourly. I'm keeping an eye on BTC.
