So far very similar action like July and September, notice MACD 0-line matching up with the zone breakouts, this is a very simple and effective trend following indicator. "Technically" this is no trend till we clearly break the upper band of the range, because of the volatility expansion on the dump there usually follows a few waves of aftershock after which the market flattens. You can see this clearly in the two previous consolidation periods.
