​It is deeply distressing to witness violence during Christmas, a time meant for peace. Recent reports (Dec 2025) highlight alarming attacks on Christians across India. In Manipur, the crisis remains grave, with hundreds of churches burnt and thousands displaced. In late December, incidents of church vandalism and harassment of children singing carols have surfaced.
​Radical groups justify these attacks on Muslims, Christians, and Buddhists by claiming India belongs only to Hindus. This ignores India’s constitutional identity as a secular nation where every community is an inseparable part of its soil.

​There is a glaring double standard: millions of Indians work in Muslim-majority (Middle East) and Christian-majority (USA/Europe) countries, sustaining India's economy. If these countries adopted the same extremist mindset and expelled non-believers, where would millions of Indian migrants go? Demanding rights abroad while attacking minorities at home is unacceptable hypocrisy.
