In Manipur, the crisis remains grave, with hundreds of churches burnt and thousands displaced. In late December, incidents of church vandalism and harassment of children singing carols have surfaced.
​Radical groups justify these attacks on Muslims, Christians, and Buddhists by claiming India belongs only to Hindus. This ignores India’s constitutional identity as a secular nation where every community is an inseparable part of its soil.

​There is a glaring double standard: millions of Indians work in Muslim-majority (Middle East) and Christian-majority (USA/Europe) countries, sustaining India's economy. If these countries adopted the same extremist mindset and expelled non-believers, where would millions of Indian migrants go? Demanding rights abroad while attacking minorities at home is unacceptable hypocrisy.
