✴️MoneyGram halt trading on Ripple platform

🔹As a reminder, MoneyGram is one of the largest money transfer services in the world, so the announcement of its partnership with Ripple in 2019 gave the company a lot of legitimacy. MoneyGram had reported being interested in Ripple's On-demand liquidity/ODL service.

🔹But since then, the Securities and Exchange Commission has sued Ripple, marking the beginning of what is likely to be a long struggle for the company. MoneyGram had already informally split from Ripple last December, immediately after the SEC investigation.

🔹For his part, MoneyGram's CEO confirms that it is a matter of prudence, but that the partnership with Ripple is not questioned for the moment. All this shows, however, the weight of the lawsuit filed by the SEC, which could have particularly strong consequences in the coming months.
