Development Update
We recently began two exciting areas of development through Zcash and Arcium integrations
Zcash wallet functionality is progressing smoothly. This will allow Cryptic users to transact privately with fully shielded addresses directly into a consumer-friendly mobile app.
Smart accounts are program-controlled accounts on Solana that allow native DeFi functionality to be built directly into your main wallet account and once powered by arcium and brought to you through Cryptic, these become completely private, DeFi-enabled accounts.

When Cryptic interacts with sensitive key material, such as exporting a seed phrase or private keys, access is gated by your device’s strongest security layer. This means biometric verification or your device passcode is always required before anything is revealed.
Today, you can see this in action by going to Settings → Export Seed Phrase / Private Keys. At that moment, Cryptic securely interfaces with your device’s keychain, which is backed by secure software or hardware isolation depending on your device.
This is just the starting point. We’re expanding biometric controls across the app to give users full flexibility over how their wallet is protected.
