After a sharp drop from the $65K+ area, BTC has only managed a technical rebound from $63.2K to $63.8K, but has yet to reclaim key resistance levels.
On the M30 and H1 timeframes, price remains below the major moving averages, while the short-term MAs are still trending downward, indicating that selling pressure continues to dominate the market

The ideal setup is not to chase the SHORT around $63.4K, but to patiently wait for BTC to retrace into the $63.6K–$64.0K zone.
If a clear rejection or reversal candle appears on the M15–M30, we can consider activating the SHORT setup.

🔥 BTC UPDATE 14/08 – SHORT BIAS, WAIT FOR A PULLBACK TO ENTER

BTC is currently showing a technical rebound on the M15 and M30 after sweeping down to the 63.0K–63.2K area. However, this still appears to be only a short-term recovery and there is not enough confirmation of a bullish reversal yet.

Meanwhile, on the H1 and especially the H4 timeframe, BTC remains below key moving averages. The overall price structure is still forming lower highs, and selling pressure has not been fully absorbed.

👉 Therefore, the safer strategy right now is not to FOMO LONG around 63.5K. Instead, wait for BTC to pull back into the 63.7K–64.0K resistance zone.
If price shows a clear rejection signal and turns back down on M15/M30, this could provide a good opportunity to consider a SHORT entry. 🎯
📉 Reference SHORT Zone: 63.7K–63.95K

⚠️ Invalidation scenario: If BTC closes an H1 candle above 64.0K–64.2K and manages to hold that area, we should temporarily cancel the SHORT scenario, as the short-term structure could shift into a stronger recovery.

Why Did BTC Hit SL Today? 📉

Today’s BTC trade is a good example of why EMA confirmation is important — but risk management matters just as much.

BTC was clearly trading below the major EMA zones, confirming a bearish structure. The short entry was aligned with the trend, and BTC then made a strong move to the downside.

However, after the sharp drop, price made a short-term pullback before continuing lower. That retracement was enough to trigger our SL.

👉 The setup wasn’t necessarily wrong — the market simply made a normal pullback before continuing the trend.

The key lesson: don’t fight the trend, but also don’t place your SL too tight. Always give the trade enough room to breathe.
