Perpetrators of sexual violence must be punished by law and expelled from the university. There is no room for perpetrators to breathe freely. Don't let victims, whether affected or not, feel unsafe in any environment. If the University of Indonesia doesn't take decisive action, a boycott petition will be launched..

First of all, I want to express my sincere apology and deep regret for what the victims have gone through. It truly angers me to realize that there are so many people who choose to commit such acts instead of protecting others and ensuring their basic right to a safe space.

Everything that happened is entirely the fault of the perpetrators, and there is absolutely no justification for their actions. The responsibility lies fully in their hands, shaped by a broken mindset that even twists the meaning of the law to excuse what they’ve done.

There is no reason—no matter what they call it, even ‘a joke’—that could ever justify their behavior. You all deserve to feel safe and to be treated with respect.
