(English version below )
秩序來自平衡、循環、責任與火的象徵;
戰爭是否真的發生,反而變得次要;
(Narrative Structure):
(Civilizational Archetype):
(Deterrence Narrative):
舞台(Stage):

When Persia Returns to the Stage: Narrative Structures and Civilizational Archetypes in the U.S.–Iran Conflict
Introduction
If global events were driven solely by immediate political decisions and military calculations,
history would have already turned the page.
Yet certain names return again and again across centuries.
Iran is one of them.
This essay does not take sides,
nor does it predict war.
It asks a more fundamental question:
Why does the global narrative repeatedly place Iran at the center of the stage?
Main Text
1. The Real Stage: Conflict Does Not Appear from Nowhere
At a practical level, tensions between the United States and Iran are grounded in visible structures:
The Strait of Hormuz as a critical energy corridor
Long-standing regional power imbalances
America’s global deterrence framework
These factors form the set.
But a set is not the script.
The deeper question is why Iran, among many strategically significant states,
is repeatedly assigned the role of threat.
2. The Continuation of Civilizational Archetypes
Iran is not merely a modern nation-state.
It carries the legacy of Persia.
In Western historiography,
Alexander is portrayed as a civilizing hero,
while Darius and Persia are framed as obstacles to be overcome.
This was not only a military outcome,
but a transfer of narrative authority.
Persian civilization emphasized balance, cycles, responsibility, and fire symbolism.
The Greco-Roman tradition moved toward expansion, centralization, and linear progress.
This unresolved civilizational line remains symbolically visible in modern Iran.
History does not end.
It changes language and continues.
3. The Nuclear Narrative: A Fear Structure that Delays Endings
In the modern stage, nuclear threat functions as a unique narrative device.
Its power lies not in use,
but in repetition.
The nuclear narrative creates a permanent ceiling of fear:
Keeping catastrophe. perpetually imaginable.
Justifying militarization and surveillance.
Maintaining order through deterrence.
Whether war occurs becomes secondary.
What matters is that fear remains operational.
4. Why Iran?
Iran’s recurring role is defined less by actions
and more by symbolism.
It represents:
A civilization retaining historical self-awareness.
A path not fully absorbed into a single value system.
A presence that resists simplification.
Every stage requires a threat.
Without one, order loses justification.

5. The Real Battlefield: Attention and Narrative Tempo
Modern conflict is shaped not only by weapons, but by:
Who defines danger
Who controls fear intensity
Who sets the rhythm of escalation
When attention is guided and emotion preloaded,
events follow the narrative rather than lead it.
Conclusion
Perhaps the question is not whether war will happen,
but whether the performance can continue unchanged
once the script becomes visible.
The stage may remain.
The roles may not.
Glossary
Narrative Structure:
The framework that organizes meaning, not merely events.
Civilizational Archetype:
Repeating cultural roles across history.
Deterrence Narrative:
Governance through sustained fear.
Stage:
The space where events are given meaning and roles.
