Я — Head of Retention. И в своём канале разбираю ошибки, из-за которых команды месяцами теряют LTV, даже не замечая этого.
Manual library digging vs paid spy tool: when to pay

A workflow comparison, not a product pitch.

— Free manual (Meta Library, TikTok Center): fine when you're researching one niche occasionally. Full creative access, zero cost, just slow and no historical tracking.
— Paid spy tool: earns its price on tracking over time — spotting which ads scaled, how long they ran, what got killed. The data is the longevity signal you can't see in a one-time browse.

The tell for upgrading: when you start asking 'has this been scaling or just running,' you need history, and manual browsing can't answer it.

Pick of the week: stay free until you're spending real ad budget. Below that, manual digging gives 90% of the insight. Above it, the longevity and scaling data a tool surfaces pays for itself in one avoided losing-angle test.

Google выпустил Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash

Story/Reel-native vs feed-native creative: don't run one in both

Same campaign, two different builds — and recycling one into the other quietly tanks performance.

— Story/Reel-native: full-screen 9:16, fast cuts, designed to be consumed leaning-in and alone. Text safe-zones matter, the bottom third gets eaten by UI.
— Feed-native: 4:5 or 1:1, designed to survive a scroll-past while surrounded by other posts. It needs a stronger first frame because it's competing in a crowded grid, not owning the screen.

The lazy move — a feed square with letterboxing in Stories — screams 'ad' and gets skipped in 1 second.

Pick of the week: build the 9:16 first, then crop UP to feed, never down. Designing for the demanding placement first means the feed cut inherits a stronger opening frame instead of a padded one.

Humor angle vs fear/loss angle: a brand-cost comparison

Both stop the scroll. They charge different prices.

— Humor: high shareability, builds brand affection, lowers ad fatigue because people want to watch again. The cost: laughs don't always convert — people remember the joke, not the offer. Watch-through up, sales flat.
— Fear/loss ('what this is costing you'): converts harder on direct response because loss-aversion is a stronger motivator than gain. The cost: overuse burns brand goodwill and trains the algorithm toward bargain-hunters.

The miss is judging humor on CTR alone — its payoff is frequency tolerance and lower CPMs over time.

🔥 Pick of the week: fear in the hook, humor in the payoff. Open with the loss to grab and qualify, release the tension with a laugh on the resolve. Converts like fear, shares like humor.
Iterate one winner vs spray-and-test volume: a budget-stage call

Two opposite testing philosophies, each right at the wrong time.

— Volume testing (many distinct concepts): correct early, when you don't know your winning angle yet. You're hunting for the message, so breadth beats depth. Cast wide, kill fast.
— Iteration (variations of a proven winner): correct after you've found the angle. Now you're squeezing — same hook, 8 visual treatments; same visual, 8 hooks. Depth beats breadth.

The classic waste: iterating polished variations of a concept you haven't validated, or still spraying random concepts after one clearly won.

Pick of the week: the 80/20 flip by stage. Early — 80% new concepts, 20% iteration. Post-winner — flip it: 80% iterating the proven angle, 20% scouting the next one. Match testing mode to what you actually don't know yet.
