Back when Blizzard still had Blizzard left inside, it created Heroes of the Storm, a game to connect all Blizzard universes from Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo, Overwatch all in one fun MOBA game. Here's an animated emoji pack which contains all animated emojis from the game.

Fun facts:
1. Some emojis, notably the "Classic" pack, have incorrect alignment, making frames move around (in the game too). This was fixed.
2. Some emojis miss metadata for frame rate. The game defaults to 2 frames per second, which is c;early not intended by the artists. This was fixed.
3. Source images are 40x40 pixels. Telegram requires emojis to be 100x100 pixels, which makes upscaling pixel art a pain. I used a custom upscaling method which makes the frames somewhat blurry, but preserves pixel art style and pixel proportions.

NOTE: Currently custom emojis are only available for users with Telegram Premium. It'll eventually be available for everyone. Right now non-premium users can add emoji packs, but can only use them in Saved Messages for testing purposes. Emoji Packs List dialog doesn't restrict adding emojis in desktop Telegram clients.

Disney has somewhat official emojis for a lot of its franchises. They're primarily available as a part of the mobile game Disney Emoji Blitz, but there're also "As Told By Emoji" videos on YouTube, emoji generator and stuff like that.

This emoji pack is a conversion of the emojis from the Disney Emoji Blitz game. Each character (in case of Turning Red, it's Mei as a panda and Mei as a human) has 8 emojis, with 7 being standard and 1 being random (called "power up"). I also added 2 more emotions by mixing these 8 emojis, for a total of 10 emojis. Emoji sets of other characters from the movie are incomplete because they're available only as part of "effects" in the game. But let's be frank, we only care about the panda, right? 😉 The emoji pack also includes all emoji props I could find (there're literally thousands of emojis with metadata of varying quality so it's very easy to miss some).

Disney emojis aren't really optimized for Telegram and some of details may look tiny, depending on the pixel density of your screen. But it's a red panda, so... yay? 😄

After getting into an argument about a terrible conversion of emotes from Twitch by one Telegram user, I had to show how to do the job properly. This involved removing dithering from GIFs, sophisticated upscaling of low resolution images and quite a bit of magic. Couldn't fix over-sharpening present in the source images though, but it's hard to notice at this resolution.

Anyway, penguin emojis exist now, so... yay? 🐣
