Some individuals have genuinely fallen on hard times, and EBT or SNAP is their only means of buying food and feeding their families
In the hypothetical event the scripted government shutdown continues and millions are without the funds to feed themselves or families, be willing to lend a helping hand to those who are less fortunate
Jesus told us in Matthew 25 to do unto the least (feed the hungry, clothe the naked, etc.) is to do unto Christ Himself. That said, it may be wise to stock up on food and water just incase, not only to provide extra peace of mind for you and your loved ones, but also to have additional resources on hand to help others
The world is getting dark quickly. Chaos is building. Hearts are growing cold. Don’t let your heart grow cold with it—that is what the enemy wants. Love others. Be there for others. Be light in darkness

Every State’s National Guard Ordered to Form “Quick Reaction Forces” for Civil Unrest by 2026

The Pentagon has directed the National Guard in every U.S. state and territory (except Washington, D.C., which has a separate arrangement) to establish “quick reaction forces” (QRFs) trained to respond to civil disturbances and riots.
• The order, signed by Ronald Burkett, operations director of the National Guard Bureau, assigns each state roughly 500 troops—totaling more than 23,000 nationwide.
• These units will be trained in riot and crowd-control tactics, including the use of batons, shields, stun guns, and pepper spray, and in managing large-scale public demonstrations.
• The QRFs are required to be fully operational by January 1, 2026.
• The initiative expands on an August 2025 executive order by Donald Trump authorizing the Pentagon to create permanent rapid-response forces for domestic unrest.
• Legal and political challenges are emerging as several states, particularly those led by Democratic governors, raise concerns about the militarization of civilian policing and potential federal overreach into state National Guard authority.
