A one-sector selloff, not a risk-off morning. SPY is about 769.4 premarket, down about 0.4% from Wednesday's 772.31 close, which puts XSP near 772.1 (ES ~7,750). QQQ is about 717 vs 725.61 (NQ ~29,604), down 1.3% with Alphabet off about 11% on a search-revenue miss and heavy AI spending. Small caps are green and VIX is lower at about 16.8, so this is a tech problem, not a market-wide one. Q3 GDP came in hot at 3.4% and PCE was in line, and the 10-year slipped to about 5.03%. Cash open is 6:30 AM PT, Lagarde speaks at 6:45, and Amazon reports after the close.

Dealers are short gamma again on SPY and QQQ for today's expiry (SPY net GEX about -$0.6B, QQQ about -$0.7B), and both open below their flips. Short gamma means moves can stretch instead of getting pinned, so give the levels a little more room today. IWM is the exception: positive gamma, spot above its flip.

The plan
1. No trades in the first 5 minutes. Let the opening range form, trade the break of the 5-minute range, and wait for the 15-minute range to confirm.
2. Gap days in short gamma can trend. Don't fade the gap just because it's big. Wait for a reclaim or a failed reclaim to tell you which way.
3. Bull case: XSP reclaims 774.4 (ES ~7,775) and holds on a 15-minute close. That flips dealers back to dampening and opens 776.0 to 776.7, Wednesday's high and the all-expiry flip. Take partials there.
4. Bear case: XSP stays under 774.4 and loses 771.9, Wednesday's low. Then 767.6, the bottom of the implied move, is in play, with 760.6 below if the tape gets heavy. Short the failed reclaim, not the first flush.
5. QQQ: 720.3 (Wednesday's low) is the first line to reclaim, and 723.1 is the flip. Under 715, 710 is the magnet.
6. Keep size down into Lagarde at 6:45 and into Amazon after the close. Nothing new held overnight into the report.
