Christ Our Advocate

1 My little children, I am writing these things to you, so that you do not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 By this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 Whoever says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word truly has the love of God perfected in him. By this we know we are in Him. 6 Whoever says he remains in Him ought to walk as He walked.

19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroy and where thieves do not break in nor steal, 21 for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

PRAYER AGAINST HALLOWEEN - By Virginia Donovan

Satan is attacking powerfully today, October 31, 2022. Please pray with me for yourself, your family, all your Christian brothers and sisters, and especially for all children and pets.

Dear Loving and Gracious Heavenly Father,

We come before you as your children, paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Lord, we ask you for special protection tonight.

First, we put on the whole armor of God. We gird our loins with truth, we put on the breastplate of righteousness, having shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. We take the shield of faith, wherewith we can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked, we take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

Father, we ask you to put a special barrier of protection around each person and family. Please send your mighty warrior angels with their swords drawn to drive back any wickedness or wicked creatures coming towards us to harm us in any way.

Lord Most High, please bind any demons or fallen angels that are coming at us or oppressing us. Command them to leave immediately and to go where the Holy Spirit tells them to go. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (I John 3:8) Therefore Satan, your works are destroyed. Be gone immediately and don't come back ever!

We specifically name a spirit of heaviness, a spirit of infirmity, a spirit of fear, a spirit of lust, and any other spirits that are troubling your children. We command them in the name of Jesus and by the power of His shed blood to leave forever.

Father, we ask for special protection for all the victims of satanic sacrifices that are about to take place. Deliver them Father, in your mercy and in your love.

We thank you Father in heaven, for your mercy, love, and Grace that you have bestowed upon us. Thank you that you are a God who hears and answers prayer. We believe in you, we hope in you, we are waiting for Jesus, and we love you. All praise and glory be to God Most High, King of Kings, Lord of Lords. We worship you and bless your holy name.

We ask all of this in the name of your precious Son Jesus Christ, who loves us and gave himself for us, and by the power of His shed blood. Amen.

1 John 2:15-17

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 The world and its desires are passing away, but the one who does the will of God lives forever.


Heavenly Father,
We need You! We get so caught in the trap of material things that we blend into the world. Yank us out, Father! Set us apart. Move in us and soften our hearts. We humbly repent for our sins, and pray for Your loving guidance. Clear our minds and restore our bodies. Grant us courage and boldness to stand for You and Your ways. Lead us on the narrow path with Yeshua, and draw more of Your children together. As the world plays on our emotions, we pray for Your strength. Catch our attention and remind us to return to Your Word, Your foundation. We praise You and glorify You, and it’s in Yeshua’s name we pray, Hallelujah!

Pictured is what is believed to be the ruins of Sodom and Gomorrah. The people of the city gave themselves over to their lusts and God shook the earth leveling what man built. Make no mistake God is certainly a loving God, but He's also a God of wrath. Our time is running short in some ways because God will only allow so much mockery of His design and creation before wrath will be poured out again. Consider this......

God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for the very things that are being celebrated and taught in schools today!

James 3:13-18
The Wisdom From Above

13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show his works by his good life in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, do not boast and do not lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom descends not from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, and devilish. 16 For where there is envying and strife, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. 18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

What if for one day God's word was treated like our cell phones. We would carry it EVERYWHERE. We wouldn't dare leave our homes without it and even turn around and go back if we left it. We'd ask those around us to help us find it when it had been misplaced. Employer's would search through it to find out what's in our hearts. We'd go into all out panic if someone stole our copy. If we treated God's word like our cell phones we'd spend all our excess time in it from morning to night, and we'd literally not be able to function until we'd picked it up. God convict me until I get it right in Jesus name!

Philippians 4:8-9

8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think on these things. 9 Do those things which you have both learned and received, and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.


Father in Heaven,
We come before You through Jesus Christ and praise You! You are holy, just, and pure. You teach us, warn us, and offer us peace. You inspire us, guide us, and meet our needs. We are forever thankful and rejoice in Your merciful grace.
We repent for our unrighteousness, and pray for Your wisdom and discernment as we spread Your Word and strengthen our faith. We pray for our families, friends, and communities. Help us reach the lost, serve the needy, and minister to the sick. May our thoughts, words, and deeds glorify You. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray, Amen.

Matthew 6:6

But when you pray, go into a quiet place and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.

God may we find the secret place today we call our war room in Jesus name!

James 5:13-16

13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone merry? Let him sing psalms. 14 Is anyone sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Confess your faults to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much.

Give them God's word and it will not return void! Often we find ourselves trying to be a ministering light to those who are lost and in need of the Savior. Priority one is praying for their hearts to be soft enough to allow the Holy Spirit to move in them. Almost equally important is to let Him convict. We plant the seeds and He will bring the harvest! We just need to be willing and available to do His will and give them His word.

It’s not our business to make the message acceptable, but to make it available. We are not to see that they like it, but that they get it!
