Agentic AI: systems that don’t just respond, but take actions.
- they use tools, retain context, make decisions.
- this is essentially where we are now.
Multi-agent systems: multiple ai systems working together.
- one researching, another reasoning, another executing.
- less assistant, more coordinated intelligence.
- the infrastructure for this is already emerging.
AGI: artificial general intelligence.
- often described as the point where systems can generalize across domains instead of being limited to specific tasks. still undefined.
Superintelligence: when ai wouldn’t just match human cognition,
- but operate beyond it in scale, speed, and
- problem-solving ability.
ASI: mostly theoretical. intelligence at a level where comparison to human thinking itself becomes insufficient.
if intelligence becomes abundant, what becomes scarce?
