Police say he found a security flaw in the website and used ChatGPT to help write malware for the attack.
The hack canceled 46,812 user subscriptions and forced the service offline for a while. Investigators say he kept regaining access by changing his IP address every time he was blocked.
Police eventually tracked him down, and he said he wasn’t trying to get back at the company, he just realized he could access thousands of accounts.
