How Windows architecture looks like now:

Today's fact: I always thought phones were the same everywhere, but they're actually not. The same phone can have different versions for different countries. Things like 4G/5G bands..

Samsung and iPhones usually support most network bands, so they work well in many countries. Even if a few bands are missing, you'll usually still get good signal, calls, and mobile data.

Sony Xperia phones are a bit different, Some regional models can miss Indian 4G/5G bands or VoLTE support, which can lead to weaker signal, no 5G in some areas, slower data speeds, or even being unable to make normal calls on carriers like Jio.

Expressive Cutout

An offline dynamic island that follows Google's Material Expressive design. Expressive Cutout turns the camera cutout on your Android phone into a small, living island. Notifications land in it, system events flash through it and live tiles keep what's playing, who's calling and how long is left on your timer within a glance of the top of your screen, all styled with Material Expressive shapes, springs and Material You colours and all customisable down to the corner radius.

💣 Russia has designated me as a “terrorist” for refusing its demands for mass surveillance and censorship on Telegram.

Under Russian law, I’m banned from “publishing information on the Internet” 😌

Russian officials have clearly got confused about who can ban whom from the Internet 😉

Today's fact: When you delete a file, it's usually not gone right away. Your computer just removes its entry and marks that storage space as free, while the actual data stays there until something else overwrites it. That's why deleted files can often be recovered. But if new data gets written over the same spot, the old file is usually gone for good.

This is true for both HDDs and SSDs. However, SSDs have a feature called TRIM that tells the drive which deleted data is no longer needed. This helps keep SSDs fast and means deleted files may become unrecoverable much sooner than they do on an HDD.

Guys another fact: I never knew this before that most of the newer samsung phones have virtual proximity sensor, which is horrible because it doesn't even have an actual proximity sensor, it works based on the device orientation and most of us don't hold the device at the specific orientation when the screen should turn off during a call !!!

Please be aware of buying samsung A, M, F and FE series, you can search this thing in Google and reddit where people are complaining the last few years about this removal of this small sensor...

Edit: Even Xiaomi does something like this :( we are paying a lot but we are getting like keypad phone features...

Today's fact: once upon a time before Android 10, we can customise our navigation bar on any android with adb and without root access

Using " adb shell settings put global policy_control immersive.navigation=* " this and using Accessibility settings we can change our navigation bar apperance or anything or even hide status bar completely if you wish so !!

But after android introduced ios like gesture navigation, this setting broke and sadly we can't customise it on stock android

BREAKING: Google will restrict 3rd party apps from checking whether ADB over USB and Developer Options are enabled on the device

Google has added a commit which says:
Add redactedValue for ADB_ENABLED and DEVELOPMENT_SETTINGS_ENABLED

The description of the commit notes:
We update ADB_ENABLED and DEVELOPEMENT_SETTINGS_ENABLED to have a redactedValue of 0, since this information is not important for the third-party apps.
This is a big relief because banking apps will no longer be able to check whether Developer Options and ADB are turned on on your smartphone; thus, banking apps will continue to function normally.

However, this commit was pushed on 23rd March, 2026. So it's currently unknown when this change goes live. Nevertheless, just enable it through flagflipper once the flag is added.
