1. You should get results within one year, especially if it takes you a while to perfect your writing skills, and/or build your portfolio.

Usually it's the quality of your content, and the weight of your portfolio that gives you the job.

So, how fast can you build both?

2. If you are very fast in building up your portfolio and improving your skills (usually through volunteering) you should get clients before 6 months.

However....

3. If you're passionate and obsessed about content creation.... So obsessed that you finish the course and still go about hunting for more materials and courses online...

And practicing day and night like Mohammed Ali or Christiano Ronaldo
