Thorne, Write-in Candidate for Attorney General of Colorado, publishes ten count criminal charges against Jared Polis, and demands that Phil Weiser and John Kellner immediately prosecute those charges to deliver justice to The People Jared Polis has injured since March 2020.
Phil Weiser is currently Attorney General of Colorado, and the Democrat Party candidate for the same office on the November 8, 2022 general election ballot.
John Kellner is currently District Attorney for the 18th Judicial District (Arapaho, Douglas, Elbert and Lincoln Counties), and the Republican Party candidate for Attorney General on the November 8, 2022 general election ballot.
Thorne is a Write-in Candidate for Attorney General of Colorado, and not affiliated with any political party.
Thorne said: “I conservatively estimate that 2 million people in Colorado have suffered serious, life-changing injuries because of the unauthorized actions of Jared Polis and others since March 2020, when he took sole control of Colorado government without any lawful authority to do so. Everyone knows someone who has needlessly suffered because of what Polis has done.
The evidence will show that Polis personally and directly caused a wide range of personal injuries including: elder abuse, child abuse, interference with school choices, interference with parents’ rights, interference with personal health care decisions, interference with business and professional licenses, business closures, and job losses, among many other injuries. The list of unjust and needless damages goes on and on, and some people will never recover.”
In order to hold Polis accountable for the injuries and damages he has caused, Thorne prepared a ten count criminal charge document in a “ready to sign and file” format. The technical name for this charging document is a “Complaint”.
“In the last few days I have delivered my Complaint to both Attorney General Phil Weiser and John Kellner as 18th Judicial District Attorney, and I have asked each of them to prosecute those criminal charges.”
The Attorney General and the 22 Colorado District Attorneys have concurrent jurisdiction over criminal law enforcement. That means each of Phil Weiser as Attorney General, and John Kellner as 18th Judicial District Attorney, is fully invested with the proper legal authority to press Thorne’s criminal charges, and each could file Thorne’s Complaint in District Court tomorrow.
Thorne has asked both Weiser and Kellner to do exactly that, having delivered to each of them essentially the same criminal Complaint ready for them to sign and file in multiple Colorado counties. Over the past few days, other District Attorneys throughout Colorado have been receiving Thorne’s criminal charges against Polis, along with Thorne’s request that they prosecute those charges in each of the counties over which they have responsibility as District Attorney.
Thorne’s criminal Complaints are designed to hold Polis and those who served him accountable and deliver justice to their victims. Thorne is asking The People to join him on his Complaints and raise their own voice demanding justice.
Page 8 of Thorne’s Complaint is designed to reinforce and strengthen the charges by identifying a witness who is willing to furnish details about injuries they, or someone they know, have suffered because of the criminal conduct of Jared Polis, and those who serve him. Anyone who wants to join in Thorne’s demand for justice can sign the page 8 and deliver it to the Attorney General and their District Attorney.
