We would like to correct our earlier announcement about roomshares.
First, yes - it is indeed the case that you need to find a room partner - one cannot be assigned to you.

We have two corrections to make though:
First, your registration will not be completely cancelled if you don't have a roomshare setup by close-of-lottery (8PM, 24th November). However your registration will be 'downgraded' to 'Attending-only' and you won't actually be entered into the room-space lottery.

Second, we were incorrect in stating that to set a roomshare, you had to add details to the 'comment' box. The correct process:

1. Log into reg.
2. Under the Room Share heading click 'Send room share invitation'
3. Enter your partner's reg number & email and hit 'Next'
4. Ask your partner to accept the invitation.

If both names are showing in your dashboard already, you're all set!

Residential Registration lottery entries close this Thursday 24th November at 8PM.

Make sure you've submitted your reg by then to be in the lottery, and if you're opting for a double/twin room, that you've setup your roomshare partner.

We've still got a lot of you in twin/double rooms that have not yet setup a roomshare partner.

Please remember that if you don't have this setup in time for registration closing (8PM, 24th November), then your registration will be downgraded to 'attending only'.

To make it easy to check if you've got your room-share partner correctly setup in our system, we've added a handy 'to-do' list on the main reg dashboard when you login!

Completed items will simply vanish once done, so no to-do list means nothing for you to do :)

The Residential Registration Lottery Window closes TONIGHT!

If you're planning to attend, and seek a room space, make sure your registration is submitted today, before 8PM

If you're registering for a double or twin room, you'll need to setup a room-share (ConFuzzled won't assign a room-share partner on your behalf, so please set one up in the registration portal).

Still waiting on any open email tickets with our reg team? Fear not! They are extremely busy handling the email volume, but no open ticket will be missed or ignored before we run the lottery!

For the avoidance of doubt, we wish to clarify the following:

If you have registered for a double or twin room, but have not setup your room-share partner before the lottery window closes at 8PM, you will be downgraded to an 'attending only' registration.

The attending-only registration type does not include any room-space accommodation, and you would need to seek your own accommodation elsewhere, outside of the main ConFuzzled hotel.

The residential lottery window is now closed.

We expect the lottery to be run around 5th December. We'll keep you updated with news on the final date.

Registration remains open for 'attending only' registrations.

The 'results' emails have now been sent. We've had a huge response this year - THANK YOU so much for your support and love for ConFuzzled. We love you back!

If you didn't get a room: We know this is disappointing, but we hope you'll agree the lottery is the fairest way for us to allocate room spaces. Other hotels nearby might offer alternative accommodation options. As mentioned in your email, you'll also be on our waiting list pending any cancellations or non-payments.

To help us process your bank transfer payment faster, please use your nickname and registration number as the payment reference. For example 'BROK123' - then let us know the reference you used when you email to confirm you sent payment.

+ Register ‘attending only’ (ignore the price shown – you DON’T have to pay anything just to submit your registration)
+ When filling out your registration, please fill in the ‘notes’ section which day(s) you’d like
+ Immediately after submitting your registration, please email registration@confuzzled.org.uk requesting that your reg be converted to the day ticket(s) you’ve asked for.
+ Registration will action your request, adjust your registration, and request payment.
