Important update: please do not transfer money to us until your registration has been approved! Such a transfer does not impact your likelihood of securing a room space.
If we are not able to confirm a room space for you, your money will be returned.
The reg process may proceed in a manner that results in some people with a higher number getting approved (and request for payment) before some people with lower numbers. Rest assured we still allocate room spots in a fair manner.
It is a quirk of our process that some people might receive their approval early, but lower numbers will still be getting their approval in due course!

The Reg Team are currently only approving Single rooms. If you're in a Single room and requested early arrival or late departure, we are currently securing the rooms for these dates, so your approval may take longer. Please don't panic!

Other room types, such as Double, Twin, etc. are not yet being approved - the Reg Team are still working through the 2,000+ registrations we received! Please be patient - we'll get to you!

Please check your emails for any contact you might have from the registration team. Our team have sent out emails to some users from whom we need additional information. This is especially important if you did not fill in a roomshare partner during registration. Please check your inbox (and junk mail folder). If you have been contacted, respond as soon as you can. We will shortly be commencing approvals for non-residential registrations. If you haven't had an approval yet, please sit tight - our reg team are still working hard!

We appreciate that currently there is some frustration for those who have registered and as yet not received a room or confirmation. This has not reached the high level of customer service we aim for, and feel like we have let you down on this occasion.

We want to provide the following statement for clarity, and to highlight the unprecedented demand we have seen for registration for ConFuzzled 2020.

Further to the earlier statement from the ConFuzzled Board of Directors, and in response to some of the questions we have been receiving, we wanted to provide a further follow up to establish some additional facts and information.

Our card payment processor is currently down. Please hold for now (you won't be cancelled during this). Alternatively, if you wish to get payment sorted, contact registration@confuzzled.org.uk to change to bank transfer. (applies only to confirmed registrations pending payment).

Payment update: We thank you for your patience on this topic. We plan to put out a full announcement tomorrow. In the meantime, if you had chosen credit/debit card & payment is due, your registration won't be cancelled.

With apologies for the inconvinience, we are having to withdraw the option to pay by card. Those still waiting to pay will be switched to bank-transfer. Many of you wanted to know what the actual date is for the new payment deadline. We can confirm this is 6th December (as in midnight, end-of-day 6th December UK time). You can safely IGNORE the deadline shown in your reg dashboard, it's 6th December :)

For help and assistance making a bank transfer, here is some (UK Specific) generic information from the Money Advice Service: https://www.moneyadviceservice.org.uk/en/articles/making-phone-or-online-transfers - you can also get help from your bank. Your bank should also be able to assist if you are making an international transfer.

Additional top tip for when you make a bank transfer, is to give the payment a unique reference, like 'Brok123' - you can choose this yourself in online banking, or ask for it when phoning your bank, or visiting a branch. Then, pass the reference to our reg team. This helps them find your payment in our banking statements over in the ConFuzzled account :)

Registration is still open. If you haven't got a room, your best chance is to book for an attending only ticket, and find other accommodation local to our venue (Hilton Birmingham Metropole).
If you're seeking a day ticket, good news, we're open!
To obtain a day ticket, please follow the process.

In the 'notes' section, please specify the day(s) you want.

The price shown will of course be for a full attending only ticket, but don't worry, payment isn't needed yet. You can go ahead and complete registration and we won't ask for the money at this stage.

Then, immediately email registration@confuzzled.org.uk to ask for your registration to be converted to a day-ticket.

When the registration team confirm this, you'll then be asked to make payment, which will now be reset at the correct rate.

Once again ConFuzzled will be running tabletop role playing games for attendees, and we are looking for Game Masters interested in running a game during the con. You can run a game from any system and setting, on a theme of “A world reborn” or otherwise. We look forward to hearing from you!
