Hey all! We're pleased to be able to share with you our preliminary Main Stage event schedule! Keep in mind this is /just/ the main stage schedule at this point, and it is subject to change.

However, if you are pondering what day tickets to go for, or mulling over whether you can attend super-sponsor events, then we hope that this will provide at least a little help!

See more here: https://2019.confuzzled.org.uk/2019/02/21/preliminary-main-stage-schedule-released/
🐾Help us choose our next theme!

ConFuzzled 2019 may still be ahead, but we're already thinking about what's next! Get involved and share your thoughts on our ideas for future CFz themes here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/cfztheme20

❤️Thank you!
Tabletop game GM signups now open!

Would you like to run a tabletop RPG at Confuzzled 2019? We are looking for GMs to run games during the con and are taking submissions. Fill in the form linked below to submit your game!

Any system is welcome, and games may be any theme or genre, though if you can do something based on Spying or secret agents then even better!

Note that player signups will open at a later date.

Check it out here - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1Y2_AL7OwxJuvA2_r9oxfX2gobRA0rjzus8SmzQ0p6oI
Are you reasonably fit?
Do you like putting things in vans and taking them out again?
Do you like wearing high visibility clothing?
Do you want to help the convention whilst still having time to relax during it?
Are you available to help from Wednesday 22nd to Wednesday 29th May?

If the answer to all of these questions is yes, you may be just the person we're looking for!

Falling within the realm of Support Services for the convention, Strike Force is primarily responsible for loading and unloading convention equipment at our storage locations and the venue and assisting other teams with initial setup of the event spaces. As such, the majority
of our work takes place before Opening Ceremonies and after Closing Ceremonies, leaving the rest of the convention free for you to relax.

We’ll provide the high visibility vests and gloves, but you’ll need to provide your own sturdy shoes or boots (safety toe caps are optional) and be reasonably fit. It’s not like competing in a marathon, but you will be on your feet for most of the day and some of the equipment weighs in excess of 20kg (though we ensure at least two members of the team are involved in lifting the heavier items).

If you’re interested in joining the team, fill out the application form and make sure to check the “Strike Force” box.

NB: The busiest days for Strike Force are Wednesday and Thursday before the convention starts and Tuesday and Wednesday once it finishes, so please ensure you take this into consideration when applying. The openings are to assist the convention as a volunteer, with the possibility to move to an official 'crew' position next year.

You have been activated! Confirm ready status and hold for mission assignment 13th March.

Agent November is back for 2019, and your help is needed! At ConFuzzled we will be running our Major X: Level 3 and Royn Yew Missions.

The Museum of Secrets has been robbed! Join Agent November to investigate this unusual crime. Can you solve the mystery in time? You are the hero in these ingenious escape games. Your goal is to solve puzzles, defeat the evil Marty Orri, and unlock a secret that’s 400 years old. Success is not guaranteed. Will you prevail?

ADVANCE SIGNUP GOES LIVE 13th MARCH – LOOKOUT FOR YOUR MISSION DROP HERE!

At ConFuzzled, the mission begins in the Lancaster room!

Robyn Yew: The infamous cat burglar, Robyn Yew, carried out the heist, and has targeted a set of antique statues. These statues are due to be shown at an international summit, starting imminently. Can you crack the clues and recover the statues before their absence sparks a major diplomatic incident?

Robyn Yew Missions start at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm on the 25th, 26th and 27th May.

Major X Ploe-Shun: The evil genius has struck again! He has planted an E.M.P. device in the Museum of secrets, if it detonates then we will lose centuries of priceless knowledge! But the Major has left us several crucial clues, can you spot their hidden meaning and defuse the device in time?

Note that there is no need to have played Level 1 or 2 to take part in this year’s version of Major X, and it has 80% new puzzles vs previous years!

Major X: Level 3 Missions start at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, 9pm and 10pm on the 25th, 26th and 27th May.

You’ve been assigned, hold for further instructions!
We are now able to share with you the registration close dates for this year. Please read the below.

RESIDENTIAL registration will close 13th April at 7PM UK Time.

FINAL/FULL registration (non-residential & day-tickets) close will be 4th May at 7PM UK Time.

The RESIDENTIAL closing deadline marks your last chance to apply for a room at the convention. At the current time, all remaining room types are nearly sold out. As such, all registrations are being handled one by one systematically. Our registration team will contact you either way if they are, or are not able to allocate a room for you. This deadline also marks the last point at which you can make changes to your rooming arrangements (subject to our usual terms on such changes and availability) such as the addition of early arrival or late departure days.

The RESIDENTIAL closing is also your final opportunity to upgrade to our 'Sponsor' and 'Super Sponsor' tiers. This is to allow our team sufficient time for the production of all those wonderful goodies! The ability to upgrade to our 'Plus' tier will remain available until full registration closure.

The FINAL/FULL registration closing deadline marks your last chance to grab a non-residential registration, or day-tickets. As a reminder, if you want a day-ticket, you will need to register 'attending-only/non-residential', but then contact registration@confuzzled.org.uk to have your registration converted. Please make sure you note which day(s) you wish to attend.

The FINAL/FULL registration closing deadline is also the last opportunity for you to upgrade your registration to our 'Plus' tier as mentioned above. In addition this is the last date for any changes to your registration including uploading a badge picture or fursuit badge picture. Please make sure you accomplish this prior to this deadline, as we cannot make changes to your badge or create you a fursuit badge at the convention, no exceptions.

In addition, we would also like to remind everyone that as the convention is now rapidly approaching, please keep in mind that you must have valid/in-date and acceptable identification to register at the convention. You can find our acceptable ID policy at the following link: https://2019.confuzzled.org.uk/attending/faqs/

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact registration@confuzzled.org.uk

We look forward to seeing you at ConFuzzled 2019!

Unfortunately we have horrible news to share: Gentleshaw Wildlife Centre, our charity for this year, has experienced a tragic fire, with loss of animal lives.

More information can be found here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-stoke-staffordshire-47691895

We know that some of you may want to make donations to help them in this difficult time, and you can do so in three ways.

You can donate via their Facebook, here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/gentleshaw-wildlife-centre/47817799348

You can donate through PayPal via the button at the top of their website: http://www.gentleshawwildlife.co.uk

And you can amend your existing ConFuzzled registration to include a donation here: https://reg.confuzzled.org.uk/2019/attendee/editoptions

Thanks!
Residential Registration is now closed (other reg types still open!)

We recently advised that residential registration would close on 13th April, however we are today announcing that this has closed early.

Why the early close? The reality is that we have completely exhausted our available rooms, including those in the overflow hotel, and no further room block expansions will be granted in the future. As such we have closed residential registration in our registration system. Additionally, our room waiting lists are also now closed. If you're still on one, the Registration team will be contacting you shortly.

For people with existing Residential Registrations, the 13th of April is still the last date you can make changes. This includes things like adding Early Arrival or Late Departure, and upgrading to Sponsor or Super-Sponsor. Although certain changes such as outright cancellations are no longer an option, you may still sell on/transfer your ticket until April 13th at 1900 UK time. You can request changes and transfers by emailing registration@confuzzled.org.uk.

So, what are your choices now if you’ve not yet registered? Well, you can still register Attending Only, or for Day Tickets until 1900 UK time on Saturday the 4th of May! As a reminder, if you’d like a Day Ticket; please register for Attending Only, put in the comments which day(s) you’d like, then immediately contact registration@confuzzled.org.uk and we’ll update your registration details to match.

Still looking for a place to stay? ConFuzzled’s location near Birmingham airport and the NEC, means that there are plenty of hotels in the local area! Fire up Google, or your preferred hotel booking site, and have a search around!

TL;DR version: We’re out of rooms, but attending-only & day ticket registration ARE STILL OPEN until 4th May. There are plenty of hotels in the local area if you’d like to book a room yourself!
Sometimes we pay so much attention to our enemies, we forget to watch our friends as well. Spies never forget to watch their back and sometimes all it takes is a good bluff. Why not come along to our 4 table, 24 player Casino Royale Poker Tournament (No Limit Hold em'). This is sign up event, but spectators are always welcome in the Casino. Fursuits and Cosplay welcome.

We are looking for both players and Dealers -

This is a no stakes, no cash tournament but any donations to charity would be gratefully received. Further clarification can be obtained by contacting events@confuzzled.org.uk

We're looking for volunteers to help run the hidden-identity party game of werewolves vs villagers! It will take place Saturday, Sunday and Monday night at 9PM! Email events@confuzzled.org.uk if you can help. Thank you! #CFz2019
We're pleased to announce that the preliminary schedule for ConFuzzled 2019 is now live!

You can see the schedule here: https://confuzzled2019.sched.com/

Don't see your favourite event yet? Fear not - work is still ongoing to add all the events to the schedule, so there may be a few things missing right now!

Here are a few tips from us!

+ Create a login, and you'll be able to build your personal schedule!
+ Pin the site to your phone homescreen, or download the 'Sched' app
+ You can share your schedule with others, and others will be able to see the events you're planning to attend....
+ ... or you can hide this. Choose your preferences in the 'settings' section.
+ You don't have to create a login to be able to access the schedule - it's live and public for free access.
Still want to register?

We're still open for you to register attending-only or day tickets until 4th May!

Visit https://reg.confuzzled.org.uk/2019/ to register!

Remember, an attending-only pass gives you full access for the whole convention!

Want a day ticket? Follow the special process
1: register as 'attending only'. Ignore the price shown. You don't actually pay at this stage anyway.
2: during registration, put into the 'notes' section which day(s) you want. It can be one or more days!
3: mail registration@confuzzled.org.uk to have your registration converted.
4: when requested by the reg team, pay for your day tickets.
5: Once your confirmation comes through, relax and get ready for ConFuzzled!

Got questions? Contact registration@confuzzled.org.uk
Do YOU want to make a VIDEOGAME?!? Just under a week now until the Game Jam starts! Plenty of time left to sign up!

Details: https://t.co/M7YT3p2pNk
Don't forget you can optionally customise your convention badge by adding a picture! Just login to https://reg.confuzzled.org.uk and click 'Upload Badge Picture'. Please be sure your photo is SFW - and no, animated GIFS don't work! :P

You've got until 4th May at 7PM to do this, and the same goes for fusuit badges!

The first fursuit badge is free! Note: you do not need a fursuit badge to access fursuit lounges etc, nor do you need one to suit at ConFuzzled - it is purely a novelty item. However it's also a cool way to identify to others what suit you wear when you're back in your human-costume! ;)

To upload a Fursuit Badge, please log in to your registration, then select "Fursuit Badges" from the right hand menu. Click on "Add a new badge", then click on the pencil icon. Please enter your fursuit's name and species in the appropriate boxes, and upload a photo. Make sure that you click "Return to Fursuit Badges" after saving, then go back to edit the badge, to make sure all details are correct.

Photos must be SFW, and cannot exceed 800x1200 pixels and 2MB in size. We recommend uploading a square photo at 600x600 for best results.

The first fursuit badge is free but any subsequent badges will cost £3 and will be added to your registration payment, to be paid in advance of the convention in the same manner as your main convention registration.

Fursuit badge photos must be submitted in advance - they cannot be requested at-con.

Pickup for both convention and fursuit badges will be at main registration. If you are unable to make it to the main registration pickup times (for example if you're attending on a day-pass), then you can instead collect these from Convention-Operations ('ConOps') - just ask a member of staff for directions.
