📉 Metrics show the internet blackout in #Iran is ongoing into its 48th day after 1128 hours. The censorship measure, unsurpassed in scale and severity in a connected society, has had an economic impact of ~$1.8bn to date per COST methodology in addition to human rights harms.
داستان دیگه فقط فیلتر کردن IP یا بستن دامنه نیست…
دارن میرن سراغ لایهای عمیقتر از اینترنت.
به نظر میاد یکی از سناریوهایی که دارن روش کار میکنن، استفاده از CDNهای داخله؛
نه به این معنی که واقعا همهچی از CDN رد بشه، ولی مسیر ترافیک رو جوری مهندسی میکنن که بخش زیادی از ارتباط داخل شبکه داخلی مدیریت بشه.
چی میشه نتیجه؟
وقتی ترافیکت به جای اینکه مستقیم بره سمت سرور اصلی، از مسیرهای کنترل شده (مثلا edgeهای نزدیک و داخلی) هدایت بشه، عملا دست بالا رو روی connection دارن.
اما VPN چی میشه؟
هنوز وصله… ولی
یا دیتایی رد و بدل نمیشه
یا connection ناپایدار میشه
یا بعضی سایتها اصلا لود نمیشن
چون بازی رفته روی routing و traffic handling، نه صرفا بلاک کردن.
در واقع دارن کاری میکنن که حتی اگه تونستی tunnel بزنی، باز مسیر دیتا اونقدری که فکر میکنی آزاد نباشه.
و CDN این وسط تبدیل میشه به یه ابزار قدرتمند
نقطهای برای کنترل، توزیع و حتی محدودسازی ترافیک در مقیاس بالا.
خلاصه؟
این دیگه جنگ VPN و فیلتر نیست…
جنگ روی خود ساختار اینترنته.
