The time has come for Catholics to ignore all liars. That means blocking them on social media, and walking away from them in public. Liars cannot be trusted, and their words are like venomous snakes. Listening to them is a hazard both to you, and to them. The most merciful thing you could do for their poor souls is to treat them as the liars they are, ignore them and shun them. It’s their last and best chance at realizing “was it something I said?” Who is the liar? Those who say Catholics worship Mary. Those who say Catholics worship the pope. My 2024 election prediction: Joe Biden will not finish his term. Kamala Harris will assume the presidency sometime between 2023 and 2024. She will run for re-election in 2024 against Republican challenger Donald J. Trump. Kamala will then go on to lose in all the polls and loose all the debates, right before she wins the election handily by a comfortable margin. It won’t make any sense, just like 2020.

THIS is why I’ve been saying to put your money where your mouth is, and to get into a jurisdiction (ordinariate, eparchy, fraternity or institute) that has growth and evangelism as its game plan. The mainstream dioceses are not going in this direction. In fact, it’s not even in their goals. The mainstream dioceses have a different game plan. It’s called “managed decline.” Here’s the deal. They have no intention of growing or evangelism. Their plan is to manage a decline of their dioceses down to irrelevancy, but to do it slowly, so as to secure their pension funds.

I’m sorry, but there is no way to stop this now. The things that are necessary to turn around the decline are things that these bishops (and many of their priests) are simply not willing to do. So it’s not going to happen — period.

If you remain part of the diocesan structure of the Church, with very few exceptions here and there, you can look forward to a lifetime of parish closures, mergers and your diocese getting smaller. If that’s not something that appeals to you, then maybe it’s time to put your money (and your body) in some other type of jurisdiction: such as ordinariate, eparchy, fraternity or Institute.

The United States is NOT trending towards another civil war. Rather, the US is trending toward a Rome-Byzantium split. Blue states parallel Rome, while Red states parallel Byzantium. The break will be slow and gradual, more of a de facto schism of sorts, until Washington DC eventually collapses, just like Rome did. When it comes to the German Synod, the bottom line is this. The German Catholic Church will continue to bless same-sex “marriages,” and will soon ordain women. This is going to happen there is nothing Rome can do to stop it. And Rome can either come along and join the Germans in this “enlightened path” or Rome can “remain in the past.” But Germany will move forward, with or without Rome’s approval. HOW TO FIGHT CORRUPTION IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH…

1.) Don’t fall into conspiracy theories about the pope. Francis is the pope, unless some future pope tells us otherwise. Until then, we must acknowledge that he is the pope and failure to do so is a schismatic act.
2.) Don’t lose faith and don’t avoid the sacraments.
3.) Don’t stop giving financially to support the Church. In other words, don’t punish the innocent alongside the guilty.

4.) Do redirect your giving to financially support those parts of the Church that are avoiding scandal and doing good work. Consider the Ordinariate, the Fraternity and the Institute as examples of possibilities.
5.) Do strengthen your spiritual life with regular recitation of the Rosary, or Divine Office, or Scripture reading, or some other private devotion. Do learn the faith and teach it to your family using the Baltimore Catechism. Do go to mass regularly, and try to find a reverent parish if you can. ReverentCatholicMass.Com
6.) Do pray for the pope, even if it just means praying that he will be delivered from evil. Also, pray that God will send us better popes in the future.
