This is insane and stupid! It will also backfire! The Left has lost its collective mind, and gone the route of totalitarianism. There will be a political price to pay for this, and it will be steep! I am eagerly waiting to watch it happen. Tick Tock, Tick Tock...

Based on the information Project Veritas just put out, right before they were banned from Twitter, it looks like SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, is the product of joint American-Chinese research into “gain of function” experiments on bat viruses. Bottom line is this. The US and China made COVID-19 together!
This link contains evidence that the United States, working with Communist China, actually created COVID-19 and then tried to cover it up. This information is forbidden on Big Tech networks like Twitter and Facebook. Share this with as many people as possible, any way you can.

On the one hand, the case can be made in favor of this when we consider events like the Oklahoma City Bombing, the Unibomber and the Atlanta Olympics Bombing. One could even make the case of using such an office to break up Antifa. So, I get it. However, on the other hand, the potential for the abuse of such an office is so great, I’m not sure it’s even possible to avoid. So that’s frightening.

FoxNews now has more viewers than CNN and MSNBC combined! Now, I’m not cheerleading for FoxNews. I don’t watch television. So this means nothing to me on a personal level. However, I do recognize that this represents a fundamental paradigm shift for the average, American, couch potato. We are it the process if witnessing a dramatic tilt to the center-right for the whole nation, and the national viewing shift toward FoxNews reflects that. It’s not where we need to be, as a nation, but it is a baby-step in the right direction.
I am thankful to have come to spiritual maturity in the Catholic Church during a time when we had good popes who were orthodox. Pope Saint John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI (especially the latter) brought me happiness and pride in my Church. I long for those days again.
Pope Francis has killed all traces of ultramontanism among orthodox Catholics in the Church, and that is probably a very good thing.

What the 2020s have produced in me...

1.) Zero trust in all branches and departments of the federal government, and that includes federal elections.
2.) Zero trust in big corporations.
3.) Zero trust in the mainstream media.
4.) Zero trust in all Liberals.
5.) Zero trust in conservative talk personalities both on the radio and the Internet.
6.) Zero trust in the Vatican.
7.) Zero trust in the top leaders of the Catholic Church.
8.) Zero trust in all Evangelical megachurch pastors.
9.) Zero trust in popular society and my fellow Americans.

In just two years, I've gone from guarded trust to zero trust for all of these things. That's quite an accomplishment. My circle of trust is pretty small now. I've got my immediate family, a few extended family members, my closest friends, my priest and by own bishop (only because I know him and have spent some time with him). That's pretty much it. I'm sure I'm not alone in this. I'm also sure our civilization cannot survive in a society where a growing number of people feel as I do. It's kind of sad really.

I suppose Church, government and media entities could try to repair the damage in future generations, but as for me and my age group (Gen-X), the trust is gone, and it's never coming back.

If Europe does not return to Christendom, then Europe will return to totalitarianism, over and over again, just as we are watching it happen right now.

If the United States does not move toward Christendom, then the United States will move toward totalitarianism, just like Australia is doing right now. Some American states are not far behind.

It’s a very simple proposition. People of European heritage, whether ethnic or cultural, are of Christendom. It is their natural home and state of being. Remove them from it, as the 20th Century has done, and they will gravitate toward totalitarianism in one form or another. Liberate them from totalitarianism, but fail to return them to Christendom, and they will gravitate back toward totalitarianism over and over again, forever, until the error is finally corrected.
Déjà vu, I am reliving this whole thing from my teen years all over again. I predict, if we see a repeat of the early 1980s (or worse), we will see the end of change coins within just few years. Everything will be rounded up to the nearest dollar, because quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies will be worthless. American coins will become strictly collectable items, completely detached from the U.S. economy.
This is why Traditionis Custodes will never be accepted by the Faithful. The sooner it’s revoked, the easier this will go. The later it’s revoked, the harder this will go. Sorry, this is not a threat. It’s just an observation of human nature and the history of the Church. I’m almost an observer in this battle, but I know what side I’m cheering for.
Eastern Catholics are generally satisfied with their liturgy. English Patrimony Catholics, within the ordinariates created for them, are generally satisfied with their liturgy too. In neither of these two groups do we see a large push to change and return to an older way of doing things. Only in the mainstream Roman Rite of the Church is this the case. Logic dictates, that if after 50 years, there is still resistance to liturgical changes, it can safely be assumed that something about those liturgical changes is flawed.

I have long held to the position that the mainstream Roman Rite should simply return to the older forms of the liturgy, which were common prior to 1970, and the Missal of Pope Paul VI (1970 Missal) should be dumped entirely. However, in accordance with Vatican II, these older liturgical books should be translated into modern vernacular languages, maintaining a small amount of Latin (here and there) so as to keep the Faithful connected to their Latin Rite heritage.

I believe there is room, in the Old Mass, for the new expanded lectionary, as well as allowing laypeople to read from the epistles as they currently do in the New Mass. Yet at the same time, provision can be made for those few parishes that wish to keep the Liturgy of the Word (Mass of the Catechumens) as it was prior to 1970. I believe this is the ONLY WAY to solve the liturgical crisis that now plagues the mainstream Roman Rite of the Catholic Church.
The book is coming along nicely. Final editing is nearly complete. I don't know if we'll make the publication date of January 31, or if we'll have to push it back some. If you want it by the end of the month, PRAY. Our Lord and Our Lady can do amazing things! So just pray and see what happens.
