I don’t usually recommend Protestant books, but for J.I. Packer I’ll make an exception. This is a highly respectable work, easy to read, and a great reference book. If more Evangelicals read this book, the world would be a better place…

Some Catholics are worried about the glut of church closures going on right now in the United States and elsewhere. I am, on the other hand, not worried about it at all. It’s the most normal and natural thing in the world, and it is good! Yes, that’s right, I said good!
You see, this is the end result of what happens when you gut the liturgy, innovate your way through the mass, abuse the traditions of the Church, emasculate the priesthood, teach New Age theology, and turn a diocese into a gay hookup club. These dioceses need to shrink. They need to lose their influence. They need to wither on the vine. And it is good that they do.
In contrast, the Traditional Latin Mass continues to grow, in spite of Traditionis Custodes. The SSPX is booming. Other traditional fraternities continue to do well. The Ordinariates of English Patrimony are doing well. The Eastern Catholic churches are doing well. The few dioceses where the bishop is strong and orthodox, they are doing well too.
This is exactly the way it’s supposed to be. The liberal Catholic Church is dying. While the traditional and orthodox Catholic Church is thriving. I wouldn’t want it any other way. Would you?

Look, I’m very sorry if your bishop is like this. It’s tragic, I know. Nevertheless, it’s time to move on. The mainstream Catholic Church is dying. It’s withering on the vine because of atrocious, unorthodox, innovative, modernist, homosexual and abusive clergy. It deserves to wither. It really is time to leave them behind and let them fail. We’re not doing them any favors by keeping them afloat with our patronage. Find a Traditional Latin Mass. Find an Eastern Catholic Divine Liturgy. Find an Ordinariate English Patrimony Mass. Go there instead. It’s all Catholic, so you’re good. Just take care of your family and rebuild your spiritual life. Let these losers deal with their own problem. Retake control of your life and get your faith back back on track!

Head of European bishops' conference demands 'no pass, no Mass' law
I’m starting to understand now why Pope Benedict XVI resigned. If I found myself the prime minister of such a corrupt and criminal institution in the Western Catholic hierarchy, I would probably quit too!
However, before he left, he gave us the tools we need to outlive this corrupt and perverted generation of bishops. We have the Latin Mass. We have the Eastern Rites. And now we have the English Patrimony. All of them are safe islands of refuge in the crisis. While the mainstream Church withers on the vine, we have some places we can go to rebuild our own faith, our own lives and our own families. This generation of bishops will someday pass, but they will do unthinkable damage to the Church before they go. It’s best for us to move on to one of these islands and wait them out.

So this conservative talk-show guy nails it. Vaccine mandates are not only immoral, and tyrannical, but they also cause regular people to start questioning the vaccine itself. They start to wonder: “Hey, what’s in this stuff, and why does the government want me to take it so bad?” Mandates arouse suspicion and actually prevent people from taking it, who otherwise would have taken it without the mandate. I predicted this would happen long ago.
215 pages! That's the size of my new book. It's actually a little shorter than I thought it would be, but definitely within the target zone of what I was hoping to accomplish (between 200 to 250 pages). My last attempt at this book was way too long, and boring, so I'm much happier with this newer and more succinct version. My target audience prefers smaller books anyway, so this should work out nicely. The rough draft is complete. Final editing is in process. Pray for a quick turnaround. I would like to get this thing published before the end of the month, but it won't be a disaster if I have to push the date back some. We shall see.
Merry Christmas! January 5 is the 12th day of Christmas. Tonight is Twelfth Night. January 6 is the Epiphany! According to English tradition, Christmastide ends tonight, and we enter Epiphanytide tomorrow (January 6). If you have a natural Christmas tree, it probably needs to come down tomorrow for practical reasons. If your Christmas tree is artificial, it can be left up until Candlemas on February 2. All remaining Christmas decor is taken down by February 2 and stored for Advent next December. Epiphanytide remains until Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, which happens this year on March 2.
The customs and traditions of English Christianity are beautiful and very Christ-centered. It’s no wonder the cultural Marxists want to eliminate them. Sadly, many American Christians abandoned those English customs in the early 20th Century, in favor of commercialized Christmas and commercialized Easter, and even commercialized (occultist) All Hallows’ Eve. We have so much to be thankful for in our English Christian customs. It’s time we rediscover them!
QUOTE: “A majority of Americans expect a repeat in the next few years of something like the deadly Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol — and just half say they now have faith in American democracy, according to a new Axios-Momentive poll.”

I agree. I’m part of the half that completely lost faith in American democracy. The federal Union is lost. It’s just a zombie now. As a nation, we’re already dead, we just don’t know it yet. I think we can still get free and fair elections in SOME of the Red States, but not all of them. The Blue States are banana republics now, and their elections have probably been rigged for decades. Large federal elections, like the presidency, and some US senatorial races are rigged too. Bottom line: the American experiment is over. It died on January 6, 2021. Nothing but riots and uprisings remain for the late, great United States of America.

That said, I do not fear. My life is not dependent on national politics and fake elections. I understand history well enough to know all of this is just a transitory phase, as we move from one system of government to another. That’s just how the world works. That’s how it’s always worked. The more we try to hang on to the old Union, and the old federal Republic, the worse things will get. We have to be willing to accept God’s will, even his chastisement, and adapt accordingly. The sooner we do that, the easier things will go.
While the Texas governor is just pointing out a technical legality here, it does highlight the underlying problem in the United States. We are a nation falling apart -- literally. The fraudulent presidential election of 2020 saw the installment of an unelected President Joe Biden. This isn't the first time we've had an unelected president, but it is the first time an unelected president was passed off as an elected one. It's that latter half of the sentence that signals the United States has become a fraudulent republic, ruled by an elite oligarchy class that is hell-bent on fooling the American public into believing their votes actually matter, and the people governing them are placed there by majority rule. This may be true in some states, at the state level, but it is most certainly not true at the federal level.
Fraudulent elections produce fraudulent governments, and fraudulent governments breed only animosity and contempt for their rules and diktats. What we are witnessing here is the slow breakdown and collapse of the federal government. Given enough time, the states will no longer do anything the feds tell them to do, and one of these days that will include paying taxes. The trajectory of the fed is irreversible now, as the treachery of January 6, 2021 will never be forgotten.
The irony of Democrats trying to keep the memory of January 6 alive, calling it "Insurrection Day," will only backfire in the worst way imaginable, as more Americans slowly realize the real "insurrection" happened inside the Capitol Building, by the Congress certifying an election they knew to be fraudulent, while the people outside were simply trying to stop them from doing it, and save what little remnant of a Constitutional Republic we had left. Yes, there was an insurrection on January 6, 2021. It was led by former Vice President Mike Pence, and it was successful. The coup d'état is complete.

This is yet one more example proving the Vatican does not understand American politics and probably never did. It is also yet one more example demonstrating why a growing number of Catholic Americans no longer listen to the Vatican, and Pope Francis’ popularity has been plunging among US Catholics in recent years.

TODAY, January 6, is a very special day for all Christians, as it marks the Feast of the Epiphany (the last day of the 12 Days of Christmas). But for AMERICAN CHRISTIANS it is an especially painful and bittersweet day, as it reminds us to worship JESUS CHRIST the KING OF KINGS, and not the government, as the Democrats would have us do in their sacrilegious portrayal of the 2021 so-called “insurrection” against their “sacred” and “hallowed halls” of the Capitol Building. Stop and really consider what the Democrats are saying here. They are using religious terms to refer to government buildings, and by extension, deifying the acts of Congress that go on inside there. Let that sink in, as you look at this picture of the Magi (advisors to ancient kings) bowing in worship to the Christ Child in Mary’s arms.

CREEPY JOE BIDEN TODAY: "You can't love your country only when you win."
MY RESPONSE: I have loved my country, many, many times, when my candidates lost, and when my most treasured values were tossed aside in an election. I still love my country and never stopped. My disgust over the 2020 election is not about losing. It's about cheating. That is what I cannot tolerate. That is what I cannot accept. And no American should ever accept it. The fact that you want us to accept it only further demonstrates your invalid election and your unworthiness to serve as president. Let's Go Brandon!
