Faithful Catholics just need to understand Traditionis Custodes for what it is — a pathetic act of desperation! That all it is and nothing more. It shows in striking colors just how terrified the Catholic Left is at the prospect of losing everything they’ve worked so hard to build, and how they’ll do literally ANYTHING, no matter how self-contradictory it is, to protect their modernist Church, even if it presents a threat to ecumenism and Vatican II. Yes, Traditionis Custodes presents an existential threat to both if it’s taken seriously. (Which is why I don’t take it seriously.) The whole affair would actually be comical, were not so many people hurt by it.

Those of us old enough to remember the Carter Administration, and the late 1970s, are having a strange sense of déjà vu now…
Just 2 days left to get your FREE book.
I realize this is a Methodist Church sign. However, if you ever see a sign like this in front of a Catholic Church, it’s time to join an Ordinariate parish, or a Latin Mass parish, or an Eastern Catholic parish, etc. Your regular parish is lost. It’s time to move on.
Evangelicalism is not a monolith. Evangelicals are not all the same. Most are totally cool with Catholics and the Catholic Church. They don’t agree with Catholics, but they don’t have a problem with them either.

It’s just a small minority of Evangelicals called “Fundamentalists,” who are anti-Catholic. These are the people coming into Catholic forums, looking for a fight, thumping their Bibles and playing holier-than-thou.

I used to be an Evangelical Fundamentalist, and let me tell you a little secret. They’re all scripted, and full of hot air. Yes, that’s right. They’re scripted, just like the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Their script is different, and less formal, but it’s a script nonetheless, and it’s designed to pull Catholics out of the Church with lies, insinuations, insults, Scripture-twisting and half-truths.

I wrote a book to counter these scripted Fundamentalists. It’s currently FREE for download in Kindle format until the end of Tuesday. Get your copy before the giveaway ends.

I’ve been saying this for a while now. Christians have to learn how to sue our enemies. It is our RELIGIOUS RIGHT to say there are only two genders. It is our RELIGIOUS RIGHT to say that one cannot change genders. It is our RELIGIOUS RIGHT to say homosexuality is a sin. It is our RELIGIOUS RIGHT to say that sex outside of marriage is wrong and marriage is only valid between a biological man and woman. It is our RELIGIOUS RIGHT to say that abortion is murder. Any attempt to silence us, or punish us for these things is a violation of our RELIGIOUS RIGHTS. It’s a violation of civil right and human rights. Christians must give up on political positions and ideological views, claiming everything as RELIGIOUS views. By doing this, any attempt to use politics, law and policies to silence us (or punish us) is a violation of our civil, human and religious rights. So we sue them — hard.

You know, very few of us thought Summorum Pontificum had anything to do with reconciling the SSPX. In fact, the ONLY people I know who ever thought that, were liberals within the Church who were against it. Most of us knew the separation between the SSPX and the mainstream Church cut much deeper than the Traditional Latin Mass. Most of us understood that reconciliation was highly unlikely in this generation, if ever. Most of us recognized that Summorum Pontificum was designed for the mainstream Church, not the SSPX, and that it’s purpose was to prevent traditionally-minded young people from going over to the SSPX, by giving them a space to explore their attachment to the 1962 Missal within the safety of the mainstream Church. But alas, all that is gone now with Traditionis Custodes, flushed down the toilet like a bad case of indigestion, to appease the liberals of the Church who never wanted it to begin with. I suppose they shouldn’t be surprised when half of their youth go to the SSPX now, but most of them are too narcissistic to even notice they’re gone.

My bishop, His Excellency Steven J. Lopes, has just been elected Chairman of the Committee on Divine Worship in the USCCB. This is very good news for lovers of traditional liturgy and traditional expressions of liturgy.
While we are still in the early stages of this, and it may not come to fruition, I think our Planners have decided that Joe Biden will have to step down soon, or at least not run for reelection, and Kamala Harris is not working out. If our Planners get their way, and I think they will, Harris may be replaced in the near future with a candidate of their own choosing. (Yes, this can happen and has happened in the past.) Some time after the new VP has settled in, they can begin the process of removing Biden.

I’m sorry folks. We live in a oligarchy, where elections aren’t real and votes don’t matter. Turn to Christ, get right with his Kingdom, start working on the parallel Christian economy. If you must vote, focus solely on state politics. Prepare for the imminent collapse of the US as we know it.

Biden’s vaccine mandate is imploding. It’s basically over. I’m sure the Whitehouse will continue to push for it, but without OSHA’s help, and the courts lining up against it, it’s basically over. This is a good thing. We can debate the efficacy and safety of the vaccine all we want, but in the end, everyone should have a choice. That’s what it means to be an American.

This is one of the main reasons why I say Traditionis Custodes is incoherent and shouldn’t be taken too seriously. Basically, Pope Francis has painted himself into a corner with this Motu Proprio. If we are to believe that the Missal of 1970 is the Roman Rite, and there could be no other, then the principe of Traditionis Custodes is correct, and the 1962 Missal must be suppressed. But then Traditionis Custodes turns around and says the bishops are supreme in deciding this in their dioceses, leaving the 1962 Missal in place in some areas, thus contradicting the notion that there is only one expression of the Roman Rite.

It gets even more hairy than that. Because you see, if Traditionis Custodes is true, in saying there is only one expression of the Roman Rite, and that expression is the 1970 Missal, then what the hell is Divine Worship? — the missal and office used by the Ordinariates of English Patrimony? We have been told it is a third form of the Roman Rite. This only works if Pope Benedict XVI’s Summorum Pontificum stays in effect, but now with Francis’ Traditionis Custodes being Church law, the Ordinariates’ Divine Worship is in limbo.

I have always asserted that Divine Worship should and ought to be a separate Western rite, comparable to other Western rites in Europe. Now, if we are to take Traditionis Custodes seriously (which I don’t at this time, and neither should you), then we are well on the way of this coming to fruition.

The only question that remains is this. If Traditionis Custodes is the new norm, why does it not go all the way? The 1962 Missal should be suppressed. Yet it isn’t. Why is that? Hmm.

Welcome to the new American oligarchy, where elections are fake and votes don’t matter.

With Republicans like this, who needs Democrats?

Put your trust in Jesus, focus on your church. If your church is into escapism (rapture nonsense) then go find a different one. That’s a big part of what got us into this mess in the first place. No, find a Church that is about teaching the victory of Christ over sin and the world, that works toward building a parallel Christian economy so we don’t have to rely on the neopagans of today. (Suggestions: Catholic Church, Anglican Church of North America, Global Methodist Church, Orthodox Church) That’s how the early Christian’s did it, and within a few centuries, they took over the world.

Jesus Christ never voted. The apostles of Jesus never voted. The early Christian’s never voted. There were no elections for Caesar or the local governors. The entire ancient world was basically a conglomeration of dictatorships. And yet, from this, the apostles turned the whole world upside-down.

Christ and his Church call us to evangelize and sanctify the world. That’s not the same as voting. Christians are not commanded to vote, and there is no sin in refusing to vote, but at the same time there is no sin in choosing to vote either. If you must vote, then by all means, vote! But don’t get that confused with your mission to evangelize your neighbors with the good news and sanctify your neighborhood with good works. Voting can play a small role in that sanctification process, but it is only a role, just one role, and often not a very effective role. There are other things far more effective and important.
DEMOCRACY is the method through which ungodly people gain access to political power.

If democracy were the means through which we elect godly leaders, how did the Christian kings of Medieval history rise to power?

If the democratic process is the key to Christian ascendency, how did Christendom arise from the ashes of the Pagan Roman Empire?
It’s a weak document, and it has no teeth, but I suppose it’s better than nothing. Even if it did have teeth, denying communion to pro-abort politicians, it wouldn’t matter. The local bishops who ignore canon law would just ignore this document too. The bishops now, officially, have bigger fish to fry. According to The Pillar, a much more accurate poll done by a faithful Catholic organization, literally HALF of all Catholics who attend weekly mass, don’t believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist anyway. The bishops have their work cut out for them. I doubt many will rise to the occasion. This generation of older bishops just need to retire. Get out of the way please! They’re nothing but obstacles to the gospel now.
