🇰🇼❌🇮🇶🇮🇷 — The Ministry of Interior of Kuwait announced the arrest of several Kuwaiti citizens after these same declared support of the unprovoked attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran against the Arab Emirate and for support for Terrorist organizations on Kuwaiti Soil

In Statement, the Kuwait Ministry said:

Statement (4) from the Ministry of Interior

The Ministry of Interior announces that the competent security apparatus, represented by the Criminal Security Sector, has succeeded in monitoring and apprehending a number of individuals involved in committing serious violations that undermine the security and stability of society. The apprehensions included a group of individuals who filmed events and circulated video clips illegally, thereby contributing to stirring chaos, misleading public opinion, and spreading fear among citizens and residents.

The Ministry also confirms the success of the Criminal Security Sector in arresting a number of individuals for posting content expressing sympathy with terrorist organizations through personal accounts and social media platforms.

The Ministry emphasizes that its security apparatus will continue with rigorous monitoring and follow-up operations across all social media platforms and fields of operation, and will not cease pursuing anyone who dares to violate the laws. It affirms that it has initiated all necessary legal measures against all those apprehended and referred them to the competent authorities. Furthermore, the Ministry notes that it had previously warned in its prior statements against engaging in such criminal practices, and that it will absolutely not tolerate any attempts to tamper with the security of the country.

The Ministry of Interior urges brotherly citizens and residents to seek information exclusively from the state's official sources, and to prioritize the national interest by refraining from circulating or reposting unverified clips. It also stresses the full commitment to not filming ongoing events in the field, circulating their clips, or filming the concerned authorities while performing their duties, in order to avoid falling under legal penalties and not obstructing security efforts, thereby preserving the security and safety of Kuwait.
