Jerusalem, Aug 29, 2025 (Associated Press ) — Israel is preparing to significantly reduce or cease humanitarian aid deliveries to parts of northern Gaza as it steps up military operations. The move comes amid preparations for an intensified offensive on Gaza City, now officially designated as a “dangerous combat zone.”
Key Developments
• Aid suspension: Israeli authorities announced air drops over Gaza City will soon stop, and the flow of aid trucks into northern Gaza will decline as the military urges mass civilian evacuation south.
• Crisis deepening: Gaza City, long besieged, has officially been declared to be suffering from famine. Over 63,000 deaths have been recorded in the conflict so far.
• Global alarm: The end of daily tactical pauses, which previously allowed limited aid delivery, has spurred urgent calls for action. Major aid organizations and UN officials warn that ceasing humanitarian access could spiral living conditions into full collapse.
Humanitarian Impact
Aid groups express serious concern over the feasibility of safe mass evacuations under such conditions. The dismantling of previously established corridors raises fears of catastrophic consequences, especially for vulnerable populations such as children and the elderly.

“Unlike Lula’s special group in the Federal Police, the Rio de Janeiro Police go after real criminals!
Two thugs who held my grandparents and my mother hostage in Resende/RJ were just arrested.
An excellent job by the Civil Police, which continues to pursue other criminals who also took part in this crime — which still feels very strange to me. I am convinced this was not a simple robbery, but the investigations will tell.”

Earlier, Gabbard published a list of 37 intelligence community employees who were stripped of access to classified information. The list included the name of a high-ranking undercover CIA officer working on the Russian direction.
Gabbard's move stunned the CIA leadership and increased tensions in relations with Ratcliffe. According to channel sources, she is trying to secure Trump's support, demonstrating a fight against his political opponents, which has become part of a broader "purge" in the intelligence community.
