🐔🇧🇷 — Bird Flu Case in Brazil Triggers Poultry Import Bans

Mexico has temporarily suspended poultry imports from Brazil after the first case of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) was confirmed at a commercial farm. Argentina, China, Chile, Uruguay, and the EU had already imposed bans. The action follows international sanitary protocols. Brazil exported over $235 million in poultry to these markets in April. The disease poses no risk to humans through meat or egg consumption.
