A 28-year-old man attempted to kidnap a little girl, but she fought back and scared him off. He was later turned in by his parents. It's a win - win. The police got him... and his parents got him out of their basement.

Columbus PD @ Weinland Park Elementary. The caller said 32yo Shantel Mayle was outside with a gun & was going to shoot someone.
Officers found a loaded .25 pistol in her vehicle. Mayle was previously convicted of a felony offense. The investigation continues.
