He subsequently filed a IG complaint within the Navy, the Navy IG stating the Navy was rubber stamping all of the denials which violates the DOD directives on how religious exemptions are processed. This brave military member then submitted a complaint to the department of defense IG and the attached letter is the response of the DODIG investigation. The DoD IG wrote to the SecDef outlining how the DOD is breaking the law
