Despite putting Cunanan on America’s FBI most wanted list and knowing he was in Miami for 4 weeks, they made no public warning or announcement. One local news station ran a story based on an internal FBI memo. The FBI reportedly said it was a routine flyer and didn’t warrant special attention when questioned about the flyer.
