🚨Former Democratic California Congressman Charged with Multiple Fraud Schemes

🔹Terrance John "TJ" Cox, 59, who represented California's 21st congressional district as a Democrat from 2019 to 2021, was arrested & charged with 15 counts of wire fraud, 11 counts of money laundering, one count each of financial institution fraud, & campaign contribution fraud.
🔹The indictment details how Cox allegedly stole $1.7M from clients he was associated with from 2013 to 2018.
🔹When Cox was a candidate in the 2018 election, he allegedly arranged for over $25K in illegal straw donations by funding or reimbursing family members & associates after they gave money to his campaign.
🔹Cox is also accused of providing fabricated bank stmts on a mortgage application & receiving $1.5M loan to build a recreation area in Fresno. That loan went into default for a loss of $1.2M.

🚨California: Ex-Federal Correctional Officer Sentenced to Prison for Lying About Sexual Activity with Inmate

🔹Abel Concho, 54, a former correctional officer at the federal jail in Los Angeles was sentenced to 3 months in federal prison & an additional 3 months of home confinement, for lying to investigators about his sexual activity with an inmate who was under his care and supervision.
🔹On July 28, 2021, Concho made a series of false statements during an administrative interview with investigators, including that he “never” had sexual contact with one Metropolitan Detention Center inmate, when in fact Concho engaged in sexual contact with the victim on approximately 35 different occasions.
🔹As part of his plea agreement, Concho also agreed not to seek employment in any law enforcement capacity or a position that requires carrying a firearm.
🔹Concho was also ordered to pay the victim $9,500 in restitution.

🚨New York: Feds Bust Genovese, Bonanno Mobsters & Dirty NY Cop In Wide-Ranging Gambling Scheme

🔹Eight alleged mobsters & a crooked Long Island detective were busted in a wide-ranging gambling scheme that prosecutors pointed to as proof the Cosa Nostra hasn’t gone anywhere.
🔹The 9 members and associates of the Bonanno and Genovese crime families allegedly ran illegal poker games and gambling machines out of soccer clubs in Queens, and a coffee bar and shoe repair shop on Long Island.
🔹The defendants are charged with racketeering, illegal gambling, money laundering conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and related offenses.
🔹“Today’s arrests… demonstrate that the Mafia continues to pollute our communities with illegal gambling, extortion and violence while using our financial system in service to their criminal schemes,” U.S. Attorney Peace.

Among those charged is Carmelo “Carmine” Polito, alleged acting captain of the Genovese family, who apparently instructed an underling to threaten a debtor that he would “put him under the f–ing bridge.”

Six other men — “Joe Fish” Macario, “Sal the Shoemaker” Rubino, Mark Peuer, Agostino Gabriele, “Little Anthony” Pipitone and Vito Pipitone — were also arrested in New York.

Alleged Bonanno soldier Vito Pipitone was taken into custody in Florida Tuesday.

An eighth defendant, alleged Genovese associate Joseph Rutigliano, remains at large.

Nassau County Police detective Hector Rosario, meanwhile, is accused of arranging police raids at competing gambling dens in exchange for cash from the Bonannos.

You are correct. I live here in hillbilly country on property that has been in my family since 1822. The word originated when the Scots/Irish (Ulster Protestants supported William of Orange (aka Billy) when he invaded England. They became known as “Billy Boys” meaning brother, friend or comrade. They were known to wear red sashes around their necks hence the term Rednecks. In the 1700’s they migrated in droves into the hills and mountains of Appalachia. The “Billy’s” were now comrades of the hills/mountains and therefore, became known as Redneck Hillbillies. (Now you know the rest of the story😊). History lesson for today…
