Legal? Not sure if it is or isn’t. Seems to me the command isn’t breaking any laws, but I’m not an expert? Unethical? Highly. This is more of that coercion the DOD is telling America doesn’t exist right now. This is what’s actually happening in ever nook and cranny of our armed forces.
Politicians don’t care. Military leaders don’t care. Most of America is unaware. Then when the morale gets so low and the troops have been beaten down so badly without anyone to turn to, they kill themselves. Then SECDEF Austin goes in front of Congress and tells them they’re doubling efforts to end the suicide epidemic with more programs.
All the while, the servicemember continues to be ignored.
