🔹Shahram Poursafi, aka Mehdi Rezayi, 45, a member of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is wanted by the U.S. for plotting to murder former National Security Advisor John Bolton.
🔹The alleged plot was likely in retaliation for the 2020 drone strike in Iraq that killed Iranian general Qasem Soleimani.
🔹Prosecutors allege: Poursafi, attempted to pay individuals in the U.S. $300K to carry out the murder of Bolton in Washington DC or Maryland.
🔹If convicted, Poursafi faces up to 10 years in prison for the use of interstate commerce facilities in the commission of murder-for-hire, & up to 15 years for providing & attempting to provide material support to a transnational murder plot.

🚨Texas: Buyer & Seller of "Sex Slave" Sentenced to Federal Prison

🔹Robert Hubert, 68, was sentenced to 121 months in prison for kidnapping. Alfonso Orozco Juarez, 37, rec'd 180 months for sex trafficking.
🔹Juarez advertised a sex "slave" that he won in a card game. Hubert offered $5,000. Juarez called the victim “property” & bragged he “pistol whip[ped] her.” A few days later Juarez handed over the victim. On the drive to his home, Hubert clamped a metal collar around her neck.
🔹Terrified, the victim texted Juarez “I’m afraid if I don’t do something, he’s going to hurt me.” He responded “Endure what you have to,” “He’ll punish you whip you...but not kill you.”
🔹Once home, Hubert cuffed her & forced her to sleep naked at the foot of his bed. The victim was eventually allowed her to call her parents, who agreed to pay $5,000 for safe return. The victim eventually escaped.

🚨New York Man Sentenced to 17 Years in Federal Prison for Child Pornography

🔹Roger Roberts, 50, of Rochester, was sentenced to serve 204 months in federal prison. Roberts pled guilty in March to receipt of child pornography.
🔹Between May 5 and October 19, 2020, Roberts engaged in Snapchat communications with a 13-year-old girl living in England. Roberts persuaded the girl to send sexually explicit photos and videos involving herself and a 5-year-old girl.

🚨Wisconsin: Repeat Sex Offender Sentenced to 20 Years in Federal Prison for Child Pornography

🔹Thomas J. Hook, 43, of La Crosse, was sentenced to 20 years in prison, followed by supervised release for life, for possessing & transporting child pornography.
🔹In March 2020, authorities received 4 different tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding Hook’s illegal online activity. Law enforcement found multiple images of child porn on Hook's cellphone & laptop, including some that appeared to have been taken by Hook’s phone.
🔹This is Hook’s 2nd sex offense conviction. In 2000, he was convicted of sexual assault & exposing his genitals for an assault involving a 13-year-old girl. He was required to register as a sex offender, & has 3 convictions for failing to comply with sex offender registry requirements.

🚨Pennsylvania Man Sentenced To 10 Years In Federal Prison For Attempted Online Enticement Of A Minor

🔹Lorenz Quiambao, 41, of Easton, was sentenced to 120 months imprisonment, followed to by 10 years of supervised release, for using the internet to attempt to entice a 12-year-old minor female to engage in prohibited sex acts. Quiambo was also ordered to register as a sex offender.
🔹On September 25, 2020, during on-line communication with a law enforcement officer posing as the mother of a 12-year-old girl, Quiambao agreed to pay money in exchange for receiving sex from the minor girl. He then traveled to meet the mother & have sex with the minor. Quiambao was arrested on scene.
🔹This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood.

Massive home explosion in Evansville, Indiana, leaves at least 3 people dead, almost 40 homes damaged including several which were completely destroyed.

The explosion that occurred at about 1 p.m. Wednesday also damaged several surrounding homes, Fire Chief Mike Connelly said.

The severity of the injuries was not immediately available.

"Debris is strewn over a 100-foot radius," including "typical construction materials" such as wooden boards, window glass and insulation, Connelly said.

The cause of the explosion was not immediately known, he said.

Aerial video posted on social media shows damage in a residential neighborhood with police and fire vehicles on the scene in Evansville, on the Kentucky border.
