In a stunning press conference on Weds., August 3, 2022, Costa Rica's newly elected President, Rodrigo Chaves, accompanied by Minister of Health, Joselyn Chacón, repeatedly denounced mandatory "vaccination" as not only illegal, but against key recommendations made by none other than the World Health Organization) and the Pan-American Health Organization. Sensitive to how hostile media and political opponents had portrayed them, the two underscored the fact that they were following WHO/PAHO guidelines, and were not "anti-vaxxers" who are "anti-science". They showed that the National Vaccination and Epidemiology Commission (CNVE) had not only broken the law, but that the members of the commission occupied their positions illegally. The President declared: "Costa Rica's people are not cattle, that you beat with a piece of wood and force to get vaccinated".

I can't help but wonder after spending the day listening to the CPAC speakers and panels.
And checking the Blue Check liberal reactions to them
Things that we consider normal like conversations about faith, family and freedom are foreign to them.
Just as when the Progressives get together and they speak about pronouns, safe spaces, DEI etc are foreign to us.
The divide is great. But normal people outnumber the crazies.
The problem is that the crazy people control the levers of power at every level, and they are empowered by a go along to get along Establishment.
The reckoning is coming.
It will not happen quickly, it will take a LOT of time to effect change.
Forcing purity tests at this point is useless imo.
We take what we can get and move on. Any GOP is better than the Dems at this point.
If we lose our preferred in the primary, we double down next time. Take the long view.
That's how we got here. The Dems stood together for decades, and they are on the cusp of losing everything. That is why they have fast forwarded their timeline.
One of the regular podcasts I watch is Timcast.
He has a theory, and I want you to think about it.
The Dems are not having children. Conservatives are.
Gen Z is the MOST conservative generation since the greatest generation.
More will come behind them.
That is why we see the crazy push in academia. The left is not having kids, they see OUR kids and grandkids as THEIR kids. Thus the indoctrination push.
Parents are furious about it.
I have said many times the ONE blessing from C19 was it woke parents up to what was happening in the schools.
Faith, Family, Freedom vs Woketopians.
I like our odds in the long run.
It may take a generation. Are you up for the fight?
